First week and really impressed so far. As others have said there are a few maintenance issues like the swimming pool area is a bit gloomy with lights not working, but it doesn't affect what I'm there to do. The classes are great so far and it's a gym and pool that is very easy to brave if you suffer with social anxiety around things like this. The groups are a mixture of all ages and abilities as are the staff which have been super helpful so far, especially the blonde lady on reception. I feel very motivated and despite being the largest lady there I haven't felt self conscious and have been made to feel very welcome and encouraged to succeed with my health journey. I would love it if we could access the building from the rear just to get in quicker, but appreciate the need for everyone to come through/leave via reception. More...

Good place, well equipped and has decent opening hours. Out of town so parking is easy but still only ten mins from bus & train stations.
Membership prices are very reasonable and Staff are always friendly & helpful.
Only slightly negative is that general cleaning isnt always brilliant but for £14.99 a month you cant really complain!

I only use the pool (15m) but as an unfit, out of practise swimmer, it's ideal. Not too busy, children are only allowed between 0900 and 1600 and people can't sit and watch as you swim, so it's not overwhelming if (like me) you feel a bit uncomfortable about doing any kind of excercise in front of other people. The walk from the changing room to actually getting into the water is only a few seconds, which really helps if you're self-conscious about being in a swimming costume in public. More...
