We're really happy with the end result, and the whole process was fairly easy. Taylor, our designer was patient with our schedule and changes, and responsive to our feedback. I would have liked more customization options for fit and finish, but in the end it turned out great. The installation was a breeze, one day for a full wall wardrobe. The installers were friendly and easy to accommodate. I have a dog and work from home, and was able to make it all happen with the installation. The price was more than we budgeted, but on par with other estimates received for custom closets, and CA closets were more professional. There were no surprise costs or add ons at the end, we were able to choose the hardware in person at the showroom. Payment was handled online, as were contracts. From the customized design to the installation...I could not be happier . Every aspect of my experience with this company was first class. I was nervous about working with such a large company and initially worried about getting personal service but after my initial meeting with Nick, our designer, I felt confident that he knew what I was looking for. When Nick shared his proposed design ideas, I didn't need to change a thing. Tessa worked around my limited schedule and was very flexible when setting up my installation. Luiz and his installation team were absolutely amazing. I have worked with numerous construction crews through several remodeling projects and I can honestly say they were the most professional and efficient team I have had in my home. We had gotten our loft desk and master closet done back in March, and although it took them a span of three months instead of the three weeks they had originally planned, I am still very happy with their quality of work and service overall.  We ran into a number of issues along the way, but I can't completely blame them because there were many that were beyond their control such as dealing with their external suppliers to get our special order items.  When there were mistakes made by them, they did feel accountable and were not at all difficult about it.  They had always been professional and tried to accommodate us as best as they could.  They were also willing to make constant trips to our house to try to fix the issues as quickly as possible, and I always felt that they had kept us in our best interest.  I don't know how many times my husband and I had made multiple revisions to our design during the design phase with our consultant, Gerardo, but he had always been patient, flexible, and understanding.  I have to say that the design phase was the most fun experience.  The Project Manager and installers were also really nice and easy to work with.  From their wood to hardware, their craftsmanship is top notched and in the end, that was what mattered to me most.  Everyday, I still walk into my closet and stand there admiring at my dream closet.  It's sometimes hard to find trustworthy contractors/companies to do the job, but I still think that I made the right decision in hiring them. Our experience was the most rewarding event. Lisa Chavez is a very worthwhile consultant, she guided us through the process step by step. Offered various cost effective alternatives and ways we could optimize our resources and space available. On the other hand Cruz and Eduardo were very proficient and professional, they explained the process of installation and how to care for the closets. I would give them 10 stars if possible for their highest level of integrity, clear communication and workmanship. In December, my daughter returned from a trip to discover her closet shelves were giving out and on the verge of collapse. California Closets installed these closets 18 years ago. Even though they came with a lifetime warranty, I had never invoked it, until now. I was so impressed that not only did they squeeze me into their schedule to totally replace my daughter's closet, they also looked at the other closets installed 18 years ago and changed out EVERYTHING, free of charge.  This is a company that keeps its word.I was also impressed that the managers took on my case and kept all their staff and departments in the loop so we were all on the same page.  I felt they truly listened and took care of our needs.Finally, the installers were personable, professional and even kind to my dog.  I am a California Closet customer for LIFE! I had a very small room that was being used as an office and spare guest room. I needed to maximize the entire room and make it functional and beautiful. This included desk, storage, closet, and murphy bed. I contacted California Closets through their website and received a call back right away. I met with Cynthia Binski, Design Consultant & Interior Designer. She listened to all of my ideas and helped me make a plan for the space. She worked on the design and within a day sent me 3D images of the space with the completed look and pricing. She was very easy to talk to, always helpful whenever I had questions, responded quickly to emails and calls, and is a true delight to work with. A little over one month later and the office/guest room is complete. The installation took 2 days and was also, very easy. Installers showed up right on time, were friendly and non-invasive, and after installation the area was completely cleaned. I do believe with other reviewers about pricing, its definitely on the high-end, but I feel like you are paying for the customer service and a higher quality product. More...

I have been hesitant to use California Closests because of the price. It is expensive. But it IS worth the cost. Our place has limited closet space. And we have two growing girls. Their small closets looked like a war zone. California Closets came...a quick visit in the morning...and had 3D examples of what their closets could look like. We signed the contract and two weeks later, California Closets returned. Their installer was professional and fast. By 2pm, my daughters' closets were transformed. This is the second time that we are purchasing from California Closets. This time was for a property in Orlando. Gabriela, was our designer, she was incredibly patient, going over every detail, explaining everything. She was very professional and did a great design for all the closets and laundry room. Everything arrived on time and was installed as scheduled. The installers were wonderful, and cleaned up nicely once done, all the closets look great. The after sale service is also great, as I decided that I would like extra shelves for my purses and shoes and it was easy to order. Sadii Byrd designed a beautiful and functional home library for me. She considered how I had it set up originally and how I used the room, then offered suggestions on customizing storage, lighting, etc. She chose materials based on colors I liked and the style of the rest of the house, and I didn’t need to make any changes. The installers were perfectionists, came on time and did a great job. They cleaned and polished everything so I could start putting the books in as soon as they left. The computer system they use to design and create your closet system is incredible. I walked out knowing exactly what my new closet would look like. He took time to understand my requirements and worked with me multiple times to come up with the perfect design . I got master and my son's closet done. His installation team Jeremiah and Miguel are very good. Jeremiah lead the installation very professionally and did a very clean job. They mistakenly got the glass doors instead of mirror doors. They came back 2 weeks after the install and replaced to mirror doors and my closet looks perfect now. Jeremiah is very cooperative and does a very clean job which is very important for me, i am a perfectionist. I highly recommend CA closets and specially this team. Five stars. I will use them again. Lisa, our consultant, seemed to anticipate and understand our needs. She put forth wonderful ideas. She was so patient with me because I was hesitant to change my room (it was a craft room). She was always there to explain, help, suggest, etc. We plotted and planned over 2 months but she was always right there to help with design or corrections. I think California Closets has a wonderful product. Their cabinets are perfect, the hinges are well made and close the doors so easily.
