California Building Solutions was recommended to us by Thuy of 923 Designs. As I mentioned in my review of 923, we wanted to remodel our bathrooms before our baby arrived, so time is of the essence. Konstantin, Scott, and the rest of the team were amazing! They were very knowledgeable and paid a lot of attention to their work. They even had a tile subcontractor redo the bathroom tiles, because it wasn't up to CBS' standards. They were always in constant communication with us via text, email, and phone. At the end of each day, either Scott or Konstantin would review the accomplished work of the day with us. They did all the legwork with getting the city permits and worked very well with the city inspectors. They even picked up a new tub and some other hardware for us. Konstantine and his crew did a great job on our house. His estimate was lower and they finished the work faster than any other estimate we received. All his workers were very courteous and respectful to our home. The new patio cover they built us is awesome. They also did an excellent job on our bathroom remodel. I had a problem with my shower that was very complicated. I called three highly respected plumbers out to fix the problem. All of them said they would fix it but then none of them would call me back or set a date to come and fix my bathroom. California Building Solutions fixed the problem in no time flat. They had to go in through my closet to replace the assembly because it was severely damaged and couldn't be repaired easily do to space constrictions. I was a bit worried about the closet at first, but then Scott told me that he could easily double the size of my closet (when fixing the problem, he discovered a lot of extra space within the walls). Needless to say, today was the best day ever! I am going to have a big closet by next week and my bathroom looks perfect. It just doesn't get any better than that. California Building Solutions is fast, affordable, honest, and professional. What more could you want? More...

We have remodeled our house four times. California Building Solutions is the only one that we would recommend without hesitation. The project was to remodel the family room and bathroom. Both rooms were taken down to the studs and redone.- They came every day, on time, and ready to go. - They worked super hard and overall did a great job.- Scott, in particular, is a superstar. He's one of the owners, and is on the job working. In the past, we work with the owner to sign the contract, but people we have never met do the work (and sometimes, they aren't very good). California Building Solutions is the opposite. The owner does much the work, and supervises the rest.- Scott even watched over the carpet installers (an unrelated company we hired) and made sure they did a good job with the install.- They are responsive, friendly, and work to solve problems.- They hit their date! When does that happen in a remodel? Actually, if there wasn't a problem with the countertop, they would have been done a week early.Anyway, you can't go wrong with them. CBS remodeled our downstairs half bath! It looks very modern and stylish now. Very timely and effective crew. Working with cbs was a great experience we had demolition on the kitchen before moving in the house. CBS was very accommodating with movers, young running children, and limited space. They worked at a great pace. When any issues came up they would have suggestions to fix the issues but in the end let us make the decisions to what we want and/or could afford. I was really impressed to how clean they were, with construction it's always going to be dusty and dirty. But, they were incredible with keeping up with the mess and kept it to a minimal. I met the owner working in my neighborhood and saw his bathroom remodeling project. I asked Scott to give us an estimate for a small project in a commercial building. His down-to-earth type personality, reliability, and a knowledgeable construction team convinced me stop to dealing with all of other contractors and go with them for everything. I did; plumbing, flooring, data, electricity, painting, carpentry, cleanroom. They are California Building Solutions. The best decision I made for the business.
