Q&A

I love working with people and building a trusting supportive relationship that helps individuals to live a better life. I am always interested in what my clients bring to the relationship and over the years I have learned so much from them too.

As a counsellor working in the workplace and within the NHS sessions with clients are usually limited to about 4-6 sessions.

Although this number can be sufficient I feel that sometimes it is not enough and I therefore feel clients have a better flexibility with a private practitioner, hence a better service. Also as an independent counsellor I do not have waiting lists and can offer faster appointments.

Because I am friendly and supportive with a very varied experience in both life and with clients. I have empathy and understand the importance of a good relationship when working with sensitive issues. I also believe humour can be a great therapy in all areas even counselling.
