Just returned from a fantastic 1:1 tutorial with Fiona today and can't believe how much I've learnt in just 4 hours. She was a brilliant teaching and helped me create some lovely figures for me to use on my daughter's future birthday cakes. Fiona created the most amazing wedding cake I have ever seen, for my wedding in July 2016 at Aldwark Manor. It almost didn't look real as it was so perfect. The tiers were all different flavours - chocolate, orange and vanilla. It tasted simply divine. The cake received lots of compliments from our guests not only for looking incredible but for tasting absolutely delicious too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Fiona to anybody. Friendly and efficient service with great attention to detail, no request was too much and our wedding cake was absolutely amazing. I went to Fiona with a simple idea and a yellow and grey colour scheme and what she created was simply stunning. We were kept well informed of the delivery time and Fiona liaised with our venue to arrange this, making it so much easier for us with so much to think about on the lead up to the wedding! Fiona made the most fabulous cake for my Father's 90th birthday celebration recently. It was so fantastic - not only in appearance but taste wise too.
From my first contact with Fiona she was so lovely and so professional. She gathered lots of information and we sent photos so the modelled figure of Dad would bear some resemblance to him. It did - but what really made me smile was the obvious research Fiona had done to get the little details just right.

Fiona made the cake topper for our wedding cake earlier this year and it was absolutely fantastic, better than anything I could have imagined. The brief we gave was simple - an eeyore bride and a lion groom (we are Mr R Orr and Mrs E Orr) and Fiona created a beautiful bride and groom for us, we got so many compliments on it, the detail was amazing. Fiona's made our wedding cake for us, 30th Jan 2016.
Her creation was just amazing, beautiful ... and delicious !
She very quickly got inspired by our design suggestions, and produced a wedding cake that exceeded expectations ! We were wowed, our guests were wowed, and even the seasoned staff at the venue ( who've seen a few cakes in their time ) were wowed !
Dealing with Fiona throughout was a pleasure, and she provided a first rate service : we can't recommend her highly enough !

Fiona did our cake for our wedding on 29th August. From the moment my wife Leanne met her at a wedding fayre, she didn't want anyone else.

Since we were doing a bit of a dog themed wedding, we asked Fiona to see what she could do, and she didn't disappoint. From the first meeting with her, she was never too busy to reply to emails, and was very professional and very helpful, and full of great ideas. We told her roughly what we'd like, and she just built around that, and when we saw the final version, we were so happy.

On the wedding day, the cake looked even more amazing than we thought it could. All the little extra touches she did, you noticed something new every time you looked at it.

Fiona also did our favours, gingerbread shaped like dog biscuits. Looked and tasted fabulous.

We can't recommend Cakes by No More Tiers highly enough. Fiona is friendly, helpful, creative and above all massively talented.

I had the pleasure of meeting Fiona a few years back when I was gaining event organisation experience and she was exhibiting her amazing cake modelling. I knew straight away if I ever had a big occasion, I'd want her to design my cake.
Roll on getting engaged at Christmas 2014, I was straight into contact with Fiona once I'd decided what type of theme I was going to put together and over the next year she created the most amazing sketch based on some of my ideas and her own talent.
Once we'd seen the sketch both my partner and I were so excited to see how it would turn out and we kept saying we'd need to sneak into the reception room to see it before anyone else as it was the one surprise of our day, having designed the venue set up ourselves.
We did exactly that and were blown away. Once all the guests started to filter in, the cake became one of the most photographed things of the day which it truly deserved.
It always seems a shame to cut into such creations but you know Fiona's work is going to also taste amazing and as we did party bags to take away, it was the next day when we kept receiving texts telling us how yummy it was.

Fiona produced the most amazing wedding cake for us recently. We really had no idea what we wanted and so spent time with her talking about ideas and tasting the delicious flvours she does to choose from. We decided on 5 different layers as we really couldn't choose less than that and all dietary requirements were met, with gluten and nut free options too. Her attention to detail on the final Rennie Mackintosh inspired design was fantastic and we had matching named gingerbread favours for our guests. The cake really was stunning and her professionalism second to none. If you are looking for a completely unique and bespoke cake then Fiona at Cakes by No More Tiers will not disappoint. I have ordered a few things from her over the last few years and everything she has made has always exceeded my expectations. From cookies made to look like guitars and red wings (ice hockey) logo to a coffin cake and text books on a bonfire!! Fiona made my cake gluten free too (as I'm a coeliac), none of my party guests could tell that it was gluten free and I can confirm that it is the best cake I have ever tasted in my whole life. So not only do the cakes/cookies look amazing, they also taste better then anything in the world. Finally, Fiona is a lovely lady who seems capable of making anything and her customer service skills are excellent. I can't recommend Fiona/ Cakes by No More Tiers enough. More...
