This bakery has great customer service and wonderfully delicious sweets! I recently discovered this place and have been back twice in a 2 week span. My mission is to try everything and pick a few favorites. So far, everything I've had has been good. However, my favorites so far are the banana split cake, which has a delicious cool whip topping and the key lime cake which has a raspberry filling. Nice little place on the corner of Apopka Vineland and Colonial. The cupcakes and cakes are to die for. They did our wedding cake years ago and were absolutely wonderful. Their sweet potato pie/pecan pie is a must try. Excellent family service and I have never had anything bad there. Try their Pumpkin swirl. It is the best. A mix of pumpkin cake and cheesecake. Cake in the City is a wonderful bakery owned by a family who puts TLC in to everything they make. I have tried the cupcakes, sheet cake, and pounds cakes; all of which are delicious. They also have great specials several days a week. You should definitely check them out! More...
