To begin with, they were the only shop I contacted out of 3 who were prompt to respond back. I emailed two others besides them and no one else got back to me. Prices were decent. It was a new place so I was willing to try it out. Granted I didn’t realize it was a half hour drive, but again, new place so I wanted to try it. I arrived an hour sooner than I had said and they had it ready. It was just as a had wanted: Minnie Mouse Cake, chocolate with peanut butter icing. My child was happy. The packaging was great. A nice size box that survived a half hour drive home and didn’t flop the cake around to where everything came off. Almost nothing came off so it stayed intact. Now I’m not one who’s a huge cake eater. It’s either too much icing, too sweet, dry, etc. Yes quite a bit of work goes into making them so I understand. I’m just picky. This place was perfect. The cake was moist which I was happy about. The icing wasn’t dried out and it had enough peanut butter flavor to specify its peanut butter but not too sweet. The chocolate wasn’t too sweet so had just the perfect amount to it. I actually finished my piece of cake for once. This place is seriously awesome! We've never had a bad experience - the inside is clean, simple and cute. The drive thru is convenient, speedy and everyone is always pleasant! Their menu is full of many tasty goodies, plus plenty of irresistible GF and vegan options too! In years past, we've gotten birthday cakes and cookies here, always delicious and hubby and I love the Wilbur's Chocolate Mocha drinks (seriously perfect). I'd like to start off by saying that I have spent hours doing research on finding the perfect bakery for my children's birthday cakes. We take birthdays very seriously in my house and the cake is one of the most important features for our parties. That being said, I stumbled across this bakery in November when I was shopping around for my daughter's birthday cake and let me just say - WOW!This business has exceeded my expectations both times. I placed both of my orders through email and I'd like to give a shout out to Jody for being so patient and helpful in answering all of my questions, prompt in responding back to my emails in a timely manner, and just overall a pleasure to work with. We have used Cake and Cup for a number of years, and every time they are amazing. This weekend I ordered a cake for my 5 year old daughter. We got the Raspberry Swirl cake, with Raspberry Mouse, and lemon icing. I told them it’s for a 5 year old girl who loves flowers, princesses, unicorns and butterflies and to “have fun” decorating. They used glittery icing, and gave us this perfect cake. My daughter was thrilled, as was I. The cake was moist and sweet (but not that terrible over sweet icing sweet we all hate). The girls who work here are always very friendly and do their job very quickly and efficiently. Good baristawork, never disappointed with the drinks I've gotten. Good selection of quick breakfast foods and some small lunch items. More on the pricey side for food but usually lives up to the cost. On the way to my wedding rehearsal, my bridesmaids and I were starving and caffeine deprived. We were about the stop at a Turkey Hill to pick up some snacks, but we caught sight of this adorable little coffee shop that seemed to be sent to us from heaven at just the right moment.

One bridesmaid had a giant bouquet of daisies and asked for an empty coffee cup with water to keep them fresh. However, the daisies were far too plentiful to fit, and she proceeded to struggle in the parking lot with them. A man sitting by the window ran back to the kitchen and got her a big plastic bucket for them. It turns out he was the owner, and he was a knight in shining armor!

The people here are insanely friendly, helpful, thoughtful, and will help you if you have a ton of daisies. The coffee was great (not too bitter, not overly sweet, perfect), and the snacks were lovely (I especially recommend the lemon bar). I'll definitely be back!

My sister got her baby gender reveal cake here and everyone loved it! She showed them a picture of what she wanted, but their version was even better than what she had imagined! So naturally, we decided to get her baby shower cake here too. The decorative touches were beautiful, and again exceeded our vision. The lemon cake with buttercream icing was a huge crowd pleaser. The lemon wasn't too strong, but just enough! Finally, I enjoyed a tiny birthday cake from here for a small gathering, and it was also a great success!
