Wow very good food and it’s fulfilling. I got a burrito and orzo rice. Just finished a scrumptious lunch. The special today was Sashimi grade tuna cooked to a perfect medium rare served with a delicious Asian slaw and light sesame sauce. I selected the chick pea salad and the spinach orzo salad. Everything was fresh tasting and delicious and all for $10.99. What a deal for such a wonderful platter. For a place that’s only open 15 hours a week, they are constantly packed and the food is always great!! I had salmon for lunch there a few weeks ago and it was in the top 5 EVER pieces of fish I’ve had. It was AMAZING!! Fabulous lunch spot in a great RTP location. This was the perfect spot to meet up with old coworkers due to the great food selection and location centrally located right off of 40 in Durham. The food is delicious and the menu offers many healthy options to choose from. I opted for the Fresno sandwich and my friends chose salmon with various sides of kale salad, fruit salad, etc. The menu can be ordered from a la carte, giving you many options to choose from. The sides to add on are versatile, fresh and very affordable! I was very impressed by the ingredients used in my sandwich and were definitely a step above some other sand which spots I've tried nearby. This place was absolutely packed during lunch so I'd recommend coming a little early or a little late to avoid the line. I love eating at Cafe Meridian. The food is always fresh and relatively fast. However, they seem to have changed the beet salad recently. ..it used to have chopped beets (LOTS of them) and they were the star of the dish. However, the one I ordered today had a minimal amount of sliced beets and far too much feta cheese and spring lettuce mix. The new ratio of beets to other ingredients is way off. It is still one of my favorite lunch places, but I won't be ordering the beet salad anymore. More...

I grabbed lunch on a Monday at around 12pm. As usual, the place was bustling with customers. They are the busiest at about 12-1pm. However, I've never had a problem not finding parking. I ordered the chicken bruschetta with roasted vegetables and corn & black bean salad. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the arugula and the pico on top of the chicken along with the herbs added a fresh "herb"iness to the chicken, which complemented the slight acidity of the balsamic glaze.
