We are a cafe that offers a different hot meal each day as well as Chicken Salad, pimento cheese, broccoli salad, pasta salad, and grape salad. We also have hand crafted sugar cookies. We are offering cookie classes as well so that you can learn to make them yourself.

It's not fancy, but it is food made from scratch by a local lady which I appreciate. There is food to eat there, or you can get take and bake meals as well. I tried this place yesterday with my mom. Several restaurants have been in this location and not lasted long. We noticed Cafe Ja'net had moved in a few months ago and finally got around to testing it out. It's a small place with a small menu. She does have a hot food option that changes each day. I got a chicken salad croissant and pasta salad with sweet tea. The chicken salad was homemade, croissant was toasted. It could've used lettuce and tomato, but it was still delicious; I would definitely order it again, and I am admittedly picky about chicken salad, so this is saying a lot. Most of the time in restaurants I just order water, but this day I ordered tea, which isn't my norm even when not getting water. I'm glad I made this decision. The tea here was amazing. I go to restaurants for the food, but this tea was noticeably really superior and has me wanting to go back soon just so I can have more tea! More...

How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
I listen to my clients to find out what they are looking for and wanting. Communication is a big key in making sure your client feels heard. I then will create a menu based on the clients need and will get approval before moving forward.
What do you love most about your job?
I love to cook so I am getting to do what I enjoy but I also enjoy meeting new people and creating new friendships.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always wanted to have my own restaurant but my life took a different turn with the choices that I made. One day I decided to go to culinary school and started down that path. Once I finished, I slowly made the transition to food service. After a short time there, the opportunity became available to open the cafe and so this new journey began.
