I can't even BEGIN to describe how amazing my experience with Cafe' Delish was! I had just moved into my new house, which was a big move with 3 kids, 2 dogs, and a cat. ...and Easter Sunday was fast approaching. I did NOT want to spend HOURS upon HOURS cooking a big meal. I contacted Cafe' Delish and from start to bottom they were absolutely INCREDIBLE. Communication was an A+, Renee was so sweet and so easy to work with. She made AMAZING suggestions and by the time the food arrived we were all completely blown away. The food was DELICIOUS, BEYOND DELICIOUS! The best part was I was able to spend quality time with my girls Easter Weekend instead of non-stop shopping and cooking. I am so thankful for Renee and Cafe Delish and will use them over and over! PS- Their Chicken Cordon Bleu is the best thing I've ever tasted! More...

We had a business lunch catered today for 25 people and it came out phenomenal! We had stuffed cabbage, a beef stew, amazing cookies, couscous, and a delicious cafe delish salad. It was like a home cooked meal I had as a kid growing up, it could have been any better. I called Renee about two hours before the lunch was set to start because I had forgotten to request that 3 of the lunches were to be vegan, I was so panicked that I was not going to have lunches to fit my employees needs. Renee assured me that she would have it taken care of no problem. I informed her that one of the girls that requested a vegan lunch was really picky, they loved the vegan caprese! We had our first and last office lunch catered today. The person who brought the food was 20 minutes late. When I called to inquire, Renee got my answer, but then hung up on me when I was confused as to how he got lost. The food was cold, the bread for the sandwiches were dinner rolls. I inquired about feeding 20 adults family style and what I got could not and did not feed everyone. They are rolls you'd use as an appetizer, so the fact that Renee sold it to me as a lunch sandwich was very misleading. We also only got 5 small rolls and meat for 10 sandwiches. When I brought this up to Renee, she proceeded to insult my boss and our company. She refused to acknowledge or apologize that not only was this food not enough, that we didn't have enough bread. The only thing Renee apologized for was that my boss was not happy. We requested a $75 refund which we did get after I had to be told how cheap we are when she is the one who tried to sell appetizers to someone who was inquiring for a full lunch. All she had to do was say she couldn't accommodate us instead of trying to scam me. She proceeded to talk to me like I'm an idiot and don't know what family style means. She had in writing what I needed. We had to order a pizza to feed the 5 people that got screwed over. Do not use them for small business. Jennifer I am so sorry you had a bad experience. I am sorry that you where unhappy but much of this review is not factual and rather than ruin a business that good people have worked so hard to build I thought I would respond. Your lunch began at 1 and my driver walked in at 1. I had never ever insulted anyone and am known to be overly accommodating. The food went directly from the oven to your facility. It was in a warmer. There is no way to get a lunch any hotter than that unless you where sitting at a table in a restaurant as food naturally cools. Your lunch consisted of 10 count- 8 ounce burgers with cheese and brioche rolls, you had pulled pork on brioche (5 of those) with cheese and then a healthy options of cut turkey and chicken because you had felt that people where all different kinds of eaters. I did not give you 10 rolls and I apologize for your getting only 6. You paid $10 per person for that including sides of orzo and broccoli salad. We also included our wonderful cookies and brownies. This alone would be $12 per person plus we did not even charge a delivery fee. Trying to accommodate your business fiscal challenges you informed me about. When you had called you where obviously distraught I had tried to make you then happy buy giving you $75 back which then brought your total per person to $6 per person I had never said any of those things and I do not appreciate slanderous untruths. How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
With a combined total of 50 years in the catering industry, we know how to get what the client is looking for. If the event is off premise, we come to the home to see exactly what is needed from us to create the perfect party and zero worries from the client. We talk about menus and add creative suggestions to create a perfect menu of the client's wants and needs.
What do you love most about your job?
The clients become like family. We love watching the events unfold with ZERO worries from the clients and they let us know we made it so easy for them and achieved their wants, that means everything to us.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Love of parties of course! Cafe Delish Catering began with owner & Chef Renee Jardin. She began creating beautiful ice carvings combined with food for events. Renee has won awards for her events and knew this natural progression to begin her passion as a business was the key to success. Family is important to Renee as most staff are mothers just as she is. Together they come together to create the perfect event for you!
