We have just enjoyed Sunday Lunch at Cadmore Lakeside Restaurant. The stunning view through the bulrushes to the lake beyond is very relaxing, the food was well prepared and tasty, but in spite of large portions I was still tempted by the sticky toffee pudding . .. and I was not disappointed! The staff are very friendly and create a warm, relaxed atmosphere. Particular mention to Emily, one of the managers who went to great lengths to make our stay excellent. Absolutely thrilled to have stayed here for 2 nights. Beautiful place set in the most magnificent setting, with really welcoming and friendly staff with a 'nothing too much trouble' attitide. Food was outstanding, our only regret is that we didnt eat here for both nights and wish we could have stayed for a few more nights. Keep up the good work. Visited for first time today. Signed up for the swimming in their fabulous pool. We had lunch which was exceptional. Very friendly staff. Lovely owners and they've got the place looking absolutely fabulous. Great dining experience overlooking the lake with a fountain, ducks and swans. Really comfortable dining chairs (a very fussy pet hate of mine). Can't wait to go back and I'll be having coffee and lunches on a regular basis after my swimming sessions in the private pool. We had recently attended a wedding and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful we had a beautiful antipasti platter the night before to suit every taste, they opened the pool late for us and tended to our every need making sure we had enough drinks available and everyone was so polite. Great Location, great staff and great food We have stayed at the hotel twice now The first time was in June, and it was a beautiful sunny day on arrival. On arrival we were made to feel one of the family, and we sat outside over looking the grounds and the lake. It was truly memorable. The second time, as we enjoyed the stay the first time, we wanted to return, the weather wasn't so nice, but the welcome was still as warm. This time we had an evening meal in the restaurant, and the food and service was excellent. What a gem of a place. All the staff were so welcoming and friendly. The location is stunning and I felt I was on a retreat. The lake is beautiful and the family of swans delightful. Excellent room with a gorgeous view. The meals were outstanding. Onwards and upwards James and Jess with your Harrisons in-house restaurant. The approach down the driveway and past a watermill suggested this was somewhere special, and the lake with superb views and a resident swan family coupled with the warmest of welcomes at reception only confirmed it. The room was spacious and comfortable, overlooking the lake and terrace. The bathroom was well stocked with towels and toiletries. We booked our evening meal at Harrisons Restaurant and were served probably the tenderest steaks ever. Unsurprisingly, we ate there the second night as well! The fine weather allowed us to explore the grounds and enjoy the views of the area. A wonderful hotel, personable and attentive staff, fine dining and amusing wildlife outside your window.
