Friendly service and good food, but having better coffee would seriously improve the experience. Vats/dispensers of Starbucks are always weak and a cappuccino or latte would be great!

Nice bagel store. So many choice. And there sandwiches are very delicious. If you take several bagels make sure you do not bagged with the onion bagels, chocolate and onion do not mixed well. ;)

Store was clean, the service was very nice. They answered questions about their menu items and delivered our Bagel sandwiches straight to our table. The food was fantastic. I personally had a Smoked Meat bagel sandwich and really enjoyed it. I got to choose which ever bagel I wanted. Great selection! The smoked meat was very good, and their mustard was light and did not over power the sandwich, which I loved. The pickle was also a great added touch. The store layout is very nice. They have great bagels, bagel sandwiches and surprisingly delicious pastries all at reasonable prices!There is a large selection of bagels to choose from and even a Monday dozen deal for 8$. Their bagels are light and fluffy with dough that lacks the chewiness and flavor of an authentic Montreal style bagel, however they are properly topped with seasonings and well worth the price! We lived in Ottawa when our children were young, back in the 90s, and brought them all up on Cadman's (then Kettleman's) bagels. Our minivan was always dusted with sesame seeds. Now we live just across the border in upstate New York, and the kids are scattered from Honolulu to Owen Sound. None of them has a reliable source of Montreal bagels, and they won't settle for less. They have made bagel stops on the way to the airport in order to take bagels home to Calgary and Toronto. A son just took bagels to Philadelphia, to his Cadman's- deprived sister. We bring bagels across the border by car regularly, too. So glad we only live an hour from your Carling Avenue store! More...

I’m in a power wheelchair and had the opportunity to visit the store yesterday after my appointment in the Medical building. This is a fantastic spot to go as a wheelchair user. They have working power doors and when not terribly busy the restaurant has tables that are at a decent height so there’s not too much leaning to reach the tables. It’s got more than enough room to manoeuvre! The food and bagels are amazing too. It’s just so rare to find a place where my chair doesn’t feel like an elephant in the room. The only problem I had was the bathroom was out of order the day I visited hence the 4 star review. There’s only one bathroom and there’s no other options in either the Medical building (keys are required, no public access) or the Shoppers Drugmart so this is a problem by law restaurants need a working washroom for patrons at all times. Went in for the first time last week and it will not be the last. The bagels are fresh, large, and well priced. I did not eat there but it looked very clean and well cared for. In fact, when I entered, both staff I saw were cleaning, I was immediately greeted, and one of them stopped what he was doing and came to wait on me. Since it was my first time I was browsing before buying and did not feel rushed at all to place an order. The chopped liver is delish. Can't wait to go back for lunch and introduce friends to it. June 2018 update: Initialy we were told that the multigrain bagels were the vegan options but we were told on our last (We asked all 3 times we went) visit that you have to make a special order to get vegan bagels.
