We are so impressed by the dog training results from Cadence K9 with our 11 month old golden retriever, Romeo. All the dog trainers, especially, Melissa (Melie), Yalene, Rebecca, and Elizabeth, are positive, encouraging, and helpful experts at dog training. We learned so much from them. Romeo stayed at the ranch for 4 weeks and in that time, he has fully learned how to walk next to a person and not pull them, how to do place, sit, down, and many other things. We are now working on new fancy commands and having so much fun doing them. Romeo had play time and learned dog obedience in a beautiful setting that was positive, stimulating, and fun for him. Looking back, we wish we would have sent prior goldens to Cadence K9. We learned so much from Melie. All the staff are devoted to positive dog training and help you to communicate more effectively with your pet. It was an amazing experience for our dog and for us. We visited him while he was at the ranch and saw his remarkable progress. Romeo is still exuberant, playful, and loving after the dog training just now he actually listens and works with us. Romeo has manners that make him a total joy to be around for us and for company. We have tried other dog training in the past but Cadence K9 dog obedience techniques worked and the experience was a complete success. To have a well trained, sweet, dog is an incredible experience. We highly recommend Cadence K9 for dog obedience training. We look forward to staying in touch with the trainers and improving our advance commands. More...

Cadence K9 is a team of very knowledgeable trainers that will take your pup to the next level. Their facility is simply amazing! They're located on a huge farm where your pet will have great freedom to run and explore. Cadence provides you with daily videos and updates so you're never worried. We boarded Kash, our 5 month Cane Corso with Cadence for 2 weeks and we can honestly say he came back 100% better. He stays in his place for long periods of times, does not pull when being walked, he knows all his basic commands. We highly, highly recommend boarding and training with Cadence K9. Both my Bull Mastiff and Bernedoodle are puppies and I can say the potty training which was my biggest concern improved by about a 90% after attending puppy camp! They also learned basic commands and they don’t pull while on their leash out for walks, which is great since they are very large breeds and I am on the small side. I’ve also used Cadence K9 for boarding when my husband and I travel... they rock! PS- keep in mind it is super important to continue the training once your pup(s) return home.. consistency is key! Cadence K9 takes dog training beyond the basics and treats each dog as if they were their own. My dog, Wrigley, attended service dog boot camp for an entire month with her wonderful trainers. They set up a consultation to discuss my specific tasks for Wrig to work on to help me have an easier life. Wrigley left me as a highly energetic rescue dog with so much love and no spacial awareness. She was extremely smart but didn't know how to use it. After a month with Cadence K9 she came home a smart, fully aware, still so loving, extremely helpful service dog. They not only taught her basic commands to help me in every day life, but they taught her critical thinking in every day life. She went on field trips to get public training and she absolutely knew when she was working and when she wasn't. I was blown away. Just a week or so ago, several months after her training camp, Wrigley and I were out and about shopping. I was standing at a counter purchasing something and Wrigley noticed people walking close behind me. She switched on her own and made herself a protective barrier between me and the crowd. Not long after that I was walking through a restaurant and tripped and fell on a rug. Wrigley ran to the nearest person and got their attention to come help me up. I'm not sure how you train a dog to do that specifically, but I do know they helped Wrigley understand her purpose and role in life when she is working for me. For that I am forever grateful to the wonderful trainers at Cadence K9! They changed Wrigleys life and have helped my life so much! I will always recommend the amazing trainers at Cadence K9 and I think Wrigley's overwhelming excitement every time she sees one of the trainers will back me up on that. More...

Most people see training as strictly obedience. Sit, stay, down, leave it. But Rebecca gave my dog so much more than that.

The day I brought Atlas home for the first time, I could see he was very different from our other Sheltie. Unlike Archer, Atlas was easily startled and afraid of pretty much everything including cars, water, sudden or loud noises, and anything that moved too quickly. I made sure to socialize him as much as possible at dog shows, group training classes, grooming shows, festivals, pet stores, and pretty much anywhere dogs were allowed. Still, I could not break his increasing anxiety and constant state of panic. He was so terrified of everything that his jaw would sometimes quiver and he would walk around with his back arched like those scary halloween cat cartoons. This was all especially hurtful to me because I myself am a professional in the dog industry and I felt like I had failed my baby as a parent.

21 days ago Rebecca picked up Atlas for K9 Bootcamp. Today, I bring home a different dog.

A dog that can hold his sit and his down with scary cars whizzing past him. A dog that can lay down and relax at home instead of pacing back and forth because somebody left the room and where did they go?!. A dog that can snuggle on the couch in place of anxiously moving from sofa to sofa every few minutes. A dog that comes when called, and proudly sits when he gets to you because "I did it mom! I'm a good dog!". A dog that is excited to go outside because he can focus on you and "what can you ask me to do next?" instead of focusing on the scary world. A dog that walks by your side and stops when you stop. A dog that did not care that I stepped out of the trainer's house because he loved it there, and he knew I would always come back. A confident dog.

A happy dog.

I cannot describe in words what Rebecca has done for our Atlas. She has given his life purpose and joy. Obedience has brought us closer to our dog and allowed us to enjoy him to the fullest. Thank you for the bottom of my heart!!!

In our first visit, Rebecca worked with him and then taught me her tactics to improve his behaviors. A significant positive result was immediate. My husband couldn't believe the change within 48 hours. After a few more sessions with Rebecca we have a completely changed pet. He is off of his anxiety meds and has developed the ability to relax. He walks calmly on his leash and will sit on command, even when there are distractions. I rescued my boxer Maeby a little over 3 years ago she was feral and abused. I went through trainers like changing our underwear, some even suggested she was unfixable and euthanasia was the best outcome. No one ever committed to helping me with my “ broken very misunderstood dog” until I bumped into Rebecca at an adoption event. She watched Maeby drag me all over the place and her reaction towards other dogs. She came over and very nicely asked to see Maeby. She had her in a sit-stay extremely calm and I was SOLD! Since then Rebecca has worked miracles guiding us on how to tame my once feral very understood girl. Maeby is now a happy confident and outgoing still a little nutty girl (but we are working on it the right way). Without Rebecca’s guidance I don’t think Maeby would be the dog she is today.
