From start to finish the team at CJ Charles have been very reliable professional knowledgable and extremely friendly. After our boiler died I contacted a well known gas company and had to wait a few days for an engineer to come, during the visit I was given a quote and told it would be two weeks before they could fit a new boiler. I then contacted CJ Charles and an engineer attended my property within an hour and fully assessed our needs and advised us on the best type of boiler and placement. A fitting date was then given for a few days later. The quote given was for a top of the range boiler whereas the previous company had offered a middle range boiler for a much higher quote. I can honestly say that i have just had a hot shower and the pressure was amazing, we are all now sitting in a warm and cosy home. Just converted from a back boiler to a new combi central heating system. The work was done in the time frame allocated. The price payed completely matched the quoted price. All work was done to a really good standard. They even went the extra mile to make sure the tidiness of the house was left exactly the same as when they first entered. This firm installed our new Worcester Bosch boiler today. Our experience from the first contact with them to quote for the jobs until their leaving after completing the installation today has been excellent. And their price was very competitive too. Colin came to do the survey and provide the quotation. He was able to give sound advice about our requirements and provided a couple of alternatives for us to choose from re the size of the boiler. Craig and Carl came today to do the installation and were brilliant. They were punctual, courteous and completed their work with the minimum of fuss. They used overshoes every time they entered the house and left everywhere in a clean, tidy condition - just as they found it. And we are already benefiting from the new boiler - the house is lovely and warm and radiators that have struggled to get warm in recent times are piping hot. Workmanship was great. Dust sheets put all around the house on my carpets and floors and taken up at night. Old radiators and boilers along with the wrappings for the replacements all taken away so no rubbish let with us.
The quote and price paid was exactly the same - no hidden extras.

The team arrived prompt and early on the day - just before 9am and started by prepping the house to ensure they kept it clean as they went. The system was drained throughout and very carefully done. The gas was tested to ensure no leaks. As it was all safe, they removed and took away the old boiler and bits and fitted the brand new one once the flush had been completed. They even took the time to explain the functions on the new boiler and what the filter would do and completed the essential regulatory paperwork. The team took time out to ask if I was happy with the job. They finished job that day and before leaving cleaned up their work area and took any rubbish with them. Overall I would recommend them to all I know, great team work and explaining everything as they went. Even showed me the sludge they got out of the radiators after the flush! Colin an his team have just fitted a brand new Worcester combi boiler at our house last week ..they removed the old boiler an pipe work an bricked up the hole like new. .they positioned the boiler flue to go up through the roof which is a lot better an less visible..they carried out a power flush to to clear all the radiators ..they worked their socks off an we’re very tidy an kept me informed throughout the installation..very professional indeed..they also fixed an old leak which I never knew about free of charge too..I would fully recommend Colin an his skilled tradesmen to anyone wanting work done..one very happy customer..
