We needed the flue from an old back boiler removing and the chimney capping off. As we live in a park home nobody apart from C&B Property Services seemed interested in carrying out the work. Charles came to visit to give us a quote and he obviously knew what he was talking about. I don’t exactly know how to word my experience. I can honestly say he is reliable, trustworthy, excellent timekeeping, good quality work but he also gives you faith that there is honest tradesman out there. As a single mum I am always dubious about being taken for a ride but C&B have restored my faith that there are genuine people out there who will not rip you off and will do as they have promised. Charles of C&B was exceptionally knowledgeable and left every aspect of my park home perfect in terms of water going where it was meant to. Apart from leaky and overflowing gutters on my 2-year old park home, and poorly sealed windows, there were unsealed fixing nails on the roof tiles and small gaps which would have allowed rain to be blown in causing major problems in years to come. My park home, although only two years old, had leaky gutters with poor flow. I also knew that the window sealing was beginning to come away. Following recommendation by other owners on my park, I asked C&B to fix these problems. The service was prompt and incredibly thorough. Charles of C&B was exceptionally knowledgeable, taking the time to give me advice on future maintenance without making me feel under any pressure. He kept strictly to the agreed quote even though he did actually carry out a few extras such as straightening roof tiles which had been bowed by the manufacturer's work team standing on them incorrectly (which caused gaps that could have let rain in). Charles replaced the rotten wood on all four of the Gabel ends of our park home with UPVC this also required him to rebuild six box sections with new wood. All of his work was to an extremely high standard I was watching him most of the time and asking all sorts of questions about park home construction.
