Halie was beyond what we expected. Our first vendor hired, Halie was by far the easiest choice for us to make. Halie worked hard to include us in the decision making, and offered insight into things that we would have never thought of. She was quick to respond whenever we had questions, and was always willing to meet in-person to discuss anything. Having photographed the bride's sister's wedding, we already had some experience with Halie, but nothing could prepare us for the level of commitment and professionalism that we received from her. From beginning to end, working with Halie was one of the best parts of our wedding! Upon reaching out to her, Halie was quick and so excited to work with us. The engagement session is such an amazing experience where we got to know Halie beforehand. While posing for photos can be awkward, Halie makes it comfortable and fun! Along the planning time, Halie was reaching out ready to answer questions and give out some tips. By the wedding day, Halie becomes your bestie! On the wedding day, Halie was early and got right to work! Seeing her timeline I was wondering how we would get it all done- but we did! WOW is truly the first word that comes to mind when thinking about the service and photos we received from Halie. I am an event planner by trade and communication is key for me. ..Halie communicated EVERY.LAST.DETAIL you will ever think of, and some you would never have even thought of. Throughout the entire planning process she was always available if we had any questions, offered suggestions/ideas for locations for both our engagement session and wedding day photography, and created a day-of timeline that allowed us to capture all the photos we wants and kept everyone on track. Can I give her more than five stars? I can't say enough good things about Halie. She's super professional from the moment we first met her - with her wedding prep book and a draft agenda for our date (including sunset) - and throughout the process. She's always fast to respond, was completely buttoned up with all things related to our big day, but was also available for occasional non-photography questions, just leveraging all of her experience working with other couples. And most importantly, her photos are AMAZING. Between the engagement session and our sneak peek from our wedding (which was only a week ago - and she already gave us a great first look), her work is really stunning - she does an amazing job getting not just us in the right place, but the lighting and composition right. Beautiful!! And to top it all off, she even gave us some recommendations for our mini-moon up in Portsmouth where she lives. While Halie's portfolio speaks for itself, I can attest that she has a rare ability to capture all your wedding emotions and ambiance in a split hair second. When it comes to her professionalism, her ability to capture moments while creating a comfortable and natural environment is what my family appreciated most, she was a joy for all to work with. As the bride handling a good amount of the wedding planning process, I appreciated Halie's organization and attention to detail. From our first phone call to the day of, she was poised and precise. Halie asked me questions during the planning process that had me re-think through some of my day of logistics with enough time to make adjustments, and it made the day more smooth and less chaotic than I anticipated it might be. Do it. Hands down, no questions asked. I am forever grateful that I found By Halie and that she was available on our day! Knowing what I know now, I would have been devastated without her . The last thing I wanted was someone making ME feel anxious on the big day. She made the entire day from start to finished feel effortless (and we had no clue what we were doing!) We had so many questions and felt like idiots asking her a million different things but she was beyond friendly, understanding and so warm! Halie was just amazing!!! We are so happy that she was available to be our photographer for our wedding day. All of the prep work before the wedding was actually very enjoyable! She creates this whole layout that seemed to simplify the process for us for the wedding day. From our engagement pictures to the day of our wedding, Halie was the easiest person to work with. It can be extremely never-wracking trying to find a photographer that you can feel comfortable with, but you won't have to worry about that with Halie. She really takes the time to get to know the couple, what pictures are important to them, etc., and she makes everything so easy. Every single person at our wedding couldn't stop raving about how professional and organized Halie was. We have huge families and she had a full breakdown of every group shot to take, which we thought would take forever, but she was so efficient with her timing. Halie is so personable and easy to work with that you almost forget all of the stress of your big day. Halie was absolutely amazing! Both my husband and I have never been in front of a professional camera before and were a little nervous but Halie did a very good job at directing us and making us feel comfortable. The easiest decision I made for my wedding was hiring Halie! She is equal parts professional and fun. We had an amazing time shooting with her. Not only did she make us feel super comfortable in front of the camera, but our shots look natural & effortless (my fiancé and I are both goofballs so this was a real feat)! We loved working with Halie! She was able to photograph our wedding on super short notice, and made the whole process extremely easy. She made my husband and me very comfortable during all the photos, and made sure to get all the shots that we wanted (and nothing we DIDN'T want). She was very generous with her time and unobtrusive during our small ceremony. Best of all, she got us our beautiful photos back way faster than I had anticipated, and has very fair policies for how we can download and use them. Halie is a dream to work with!
