Butterflies Bereavement Support was created by a group of people who had experienced bereavement and loss and who have used their skills and experience to ensure that all people have full access to a specialist bereavement support network at the time of need for their family and friends.

What do you love most about your job?
"Watching users struggling to get thro the door.. Short time.. Holding a hand, sharing.. Leaving with a hint of a smile" This how one of the team described our work and this really is what we are here for.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We are community organisation rather than a business and we created this because there were a lot of people struggling with bereavement and loss and either didn't know where to access support in the community or couldn't afford to get help. Our service is informal and each client is treated on an individual basis and we build a rapport with them over a period of time. In addition to the counselling sessions,we have created drop in and chat sessions for those who feel able to talk with others in similar situations.
Why should our clients choose you?
We are a community organisation specialising in bereavement support but we can also undertake other areas of counselling and support as needed.
We are all trained counsellors and are covered by insurance

We have a lovely sitting room with a garden that provides a tranquil and discrete setting
