This honestly has become my favorite restaurant ever.First off, I love the atmosphere-a casual urban chic. My date and I are both in the service industry ourselves, so when we say we were both impressed, we mean it. We sat on the second floor bar overlooking the restaurant. Between the two of us, we split the goat cheese app with bacon, fries, and Israeli Chicken. The food was perfectly flavored and cooked. He goat cheese was salty and sweet. The chicken was moist and had a sweet savoriness about it. Very unique-which is a rare quality to find these days. and paired well with his two local beers (recommended by our server, Zach) and my Appily Ever After and the Special Sour (located on the menu but the actual name escapes me now. I remember it had egg white in it). Not only was the ambience classy and the food delicious, but our service was also excellent. Zach made great beer suggestions for my date and for the meal to share. He explained the menu well and was very attentive with water and anything else we asked for. HIGHLY recommend. More...

We came to Nashville for a bachelorette party and after reading reviews and hearing nothing but great things we decided we had to visit Butcher & Bee for brunch. Our waiter was having an off day (we all have those) and our service was not the best. However - I will say the food was great and the manager (I’m sorry I forget your name) was very professional and transparent. He knew our service had been less than ideal and went above and beyond to accommodate us. He was honest, took accountability and even took care of our entire bill. We have all worked in the restaurant industry and know realistically things do go wrong but the fact he did whatever he could to better our experience speaks volumes. I really enjoyed Butcher and Bee. The service was wonderful, the wine and beer selection was great, and the menu had so many choices (some GF, vegan options too). The appetizers really stole the show. The bacon wrapped dates and whipped feta were some of the best foods I’ve ever had in my life.
