I used to work at burrswood in 1997
It is a beautiful, memorable place.
Nature gods creation is just magnificent.
I stayed there in Chapel House The b and b side some years ago and can only recommend it . After many years in the hotel trade in Paris over 20 now I would not mind coming back to Burrswood and work More...

Visited Burrswood Health and Wellbeing for Physio today. Can highly recommend Fiona Clark, the best physiotherapist I've had. Friendly reception staff and beautiful grounds and a cafe. They also do hydrotherapy. More...

Beautiful surroundings in a relaxed environment. Very welcoming to new and also regular customers.
A lovely patio with umbrellas for shade when sunny. And plenty of seating inside. There's a bookshop on site to visit if interested. The grounds are lovely to stroll around too. I will be going there many more times in the future. More...

From the moment I arrived to the moment I left, I was met with such warmth & spirituall care and comfort. I have been three times, until my primary care trust pulled the plug on funding.

The first trip I made, I knew there was a hydrotherapy pool but as I'm quadriplegic and bed-bound, I didn't bother to pack trunks as I thought I'd never be able to get in the pool. What I've learnt about the staff @ burrswood is that they do whatever they can to make things happen. I found out the have a stretcher that lowers into the pool in its entirety! It was the first time in 15 years that I'd got back into a pool. The water is always lovely & warm.

The care staff, physios, councellors, & chaplins, all treated me with an incredible amount of kindness, love & respect.

If your thinking of visiting, for whatever reason, I'd heartily recommend it.
