What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Understanding light and good framing, being able to think on your feet and getting the right angle. Experience also plays a major role.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
One of the first questions I ask is"Do you have a budget" and then working out how to achieve the work within that budget. The next would be to require a detailed briefing about subject, Location, timing, props, models and any other elements that are relevant, then planning the shoot.
What do you love most about your job?
I love the fact that each day is different, meeting new people, seeing new places, and very often discovering a corner of life that one never knew existed.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I had worked for other photography and and production companies (Audio visual & Video)and various clients encouraged me to set up on my own and promised support. I started my own Photography and Production company in 1991

I studied Graphic design and majored in photography at UCT (University of Cape Town) and have won numerous awards and I have over 35 years experience in the industry and am very flexible about budget and timing.
