We rescued Lulu at 14months. We have a puppy who would only do commands for food, would jump on people, eat things she wasn’t supposed to, and pull on the leash when going for walks. Ivory was our trainer who 2 of our friends used and they have very well behaved dogs that go off leash. I can’t say enough good things about this trainer. We now have a dog that stays off of people, doesn’t bark in stores, walks beside me at my pace on walks, and isn’t eating rocks or other objects all without treats. I dropped off my puppy Bane( mastiff/Rottweiler) to Kenzie at bulletproof and she was super sweet and nice Bane loved her she was great with him, she sent me texts,videos,and pictures almost every day. Even after the training was done she still asks how he’s doing, Also any questions I have day or night she will answer the best she can I loved bulletproof and if I get another puppy I will always make sure it is her who trains no question!!! Our trainer “Casey” did an excellent job with our German shepherd puppy! Before training I would spite walking her. Without a leash, we will go on regular walks now. When she wants to go on walks we enjoy talking her! Around the house she will go into commands without being asked and wait to be released which is quite comical. Casey did a great job of taming our Ruby pup. We were at wits end with the biting and constant struggle to get her calmed down on leash. I cannot recommend Bullet Proof Dog training enough! From the moment I enrolled my pup, I knew we were in good hands. Our trainer Solomon is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about what he does. Not only did he help my dog learn essential obedience commands, but he also provided valuable tips for maintaining Shroomys training at home. We took our dog Peach to get trained by Casey and had an absolutely amazing experience. Casey was great to work with and drastically improved Peach's recall and behavior. I had a GREAT experience with Bulletproof dog training. They worked with me, got me in very last minute , and gave me a discount to account the $$ i’d spend on gas for the fact i was driving up from Louisville as they no longer have a Louisville location! The intake was quick & easy. I spoke with the owner several times on the phone before i decided my game plan for training my dog. When i brought my dog in i got to meet the person in charge of training my dog! Solomon was my dog’s trainer. I was able to correspond with Solomon via text, who was polite, professional, and personable! I got regular updates with photos and videos, my questions got answered quickly as well. Picking up my dog and seeing his response to the training was great. Solomon answered all of my questions and said i can text with questions after too!(He answers them quickly!!) Overall a great experience. Just want to add after i read some other reviews about peoples dogs post training: if you think dog training will magically fix your dog and make him perfect, think again! Yes, my dog was different after training, but he’s still an animal. You still have to work with your dog EVERYDAY to keep it fresh in his memory and remind him how he needs to behave. We took our foster fail, Bandit, to bulletproof to help with basic commands and to help boost his confidence. He was always super skittish and clearly had no prior training when he came to us. Kenzie was our trainer and upon meeting, we instantly hit it off! I could tell within the first minute of talking to her that she has such a drive and passion for working with dogs. She was so personable with me and calmed my nerves about leaving my baby. Bandit never just takes to anyone, his past wasn’t the best, but he took to Kenzie who showed him nothing but patience and love. He even peed in her car 🤦🏼‍♀️ and she just shrugged it off like it was nothing. (Speaking of which, I owe her a detailing) Kenzie never failed to update us on how our boy was doing and how he did that day. She literally sent 15 pictures every day! It was super reassuring for me and definitely calmed me down, I’ve never just left my dogs anywhere besides family so you can imagine how nervous I was. Upon pick up, she went through each and every detail and made sure we felt comfortable with the remote and collar used on Bandit and showed us each command. If at any time we had questions, she thoroughly went through the process again. Bandit came back a different dog, so much so that our neighbor even commented on it! He LISTENS. He has boosted in his confidence so much that we can now let him outside ALONE and he doesn’t just pace back and forth, he actually “dogs”. We dropped our 7.5 year old doggo off for the 15 day board and train with trainer Solomon, and we wish we did it sooner. We have had our dog back for a few days now, and the results started showing immediately. I sent my 10 month old Cockapoo puppy to Bulletproof for training and I have to say, Wilbur absolutely loved his trainer, Ivory. Wilbur is a very nervous and shy dog. He was extremely timid when they first met and Ivory took the time to get to know him, understand him, and work within his comfort level. By the end of the training you could tell how much he trusted her and felt safe with her. Though still timid, his confidence continues to grow as we work to reinforce his training at home and out in public. The communication Ivory provided me throughout Wilbur’s training was phenomenal. I did the 15 day boarding and training for my two Berniedoodles. My trainers: Kenzie Conley Solomon Thompson Did awesome, I had reservations going to any of my local dog training facilities and someone recommended this place and they exceeded those expectations for me personally. They stayed in contact with me everyday, they made sure to communicate if there were any complications such as one of my puppers had a sensory overload and kenzie went into great detail and answered all of my questions and made time for phone calls! Both trainers worked together to stay on the same page as well. Come pick up day, they made sure I understood commands and that I executed them properly. So overall great experience for me. My experience has been terrible, horrible, no good, and I would not suggest this to anyone. The scheduling and the drop off process was very easy. We booked the 15-day stay for our 6-month-old hound puppy because we do a lot of hiking and having our dog be off leash would be amazing. This was primarily the only thing we were looking for in training and when we found Bulletproof, we thought it was going to be perfect. After the 15-day board-and-train the only thing we have is a very expense collar that our dog doesn’t know what it means. A couple weeks after training we were really struggling to just walk on a leash around the neighborhood, we reached out to our trainer and had a Saturday session where she walked through some different techniques had some suggestions about how to improve our dog’s leash behavior. About a month after that I was able to schedule another week of training at the facility and went over some of the exact issues that we are having; cars, other dogs, people walking, all things you see in a neighborhood. I asked that he not be taken to a store because that is not an everyday occurrence, like walking about the block. Our trainer said that is what they focused on but “he is still young and will need work”. (If he is too young, why accept 5-month-old dogs?) Now our pup is 8 months old and 70lbs and lunges at just about everything on our walks, he doesn’t know what the corrections from the collar mean and he is most certainly not off leash. The trainer’s comments when leaving the last time is “he is good with leash pressure” translation; he just pulls. Also, “you might want to try to hold treats near his face to avoid distractions”. I understand this to an extent, but not for $3k. I have called several times trying to reach out to the manager of Cincinnati and I even tried Louisville, hoping that we could go to another location for this lifetime guarantee, but have not heard back. Adam trained our GSD Pawlene back in 2022 when she was a young dog. Pawlene is like a child to us, and wanted to make sure we were setting her up for success when she matured into the adult dog she would soon be. We found bullet proof training, and took a puppy class first but where intending to do the board and train program as well. When it was time for us to drop Pawlene off for her stay we met Adam, and instantly knew she was in safe hands. He updated us daily with pictures/videos of her progress along the way. We missed her terribly, but knew this was going to be so beneficial to her. It has been almost 2 years since she completed training, and she is now an adult dog. She is so well behaved, and truly a blessing to our family. If it wasn’t for Adam and the team at Bulletproof training I don’t think Pawlene would have been as successful as she is now. We take her everywhere with us that we can, and are so thankful for the work they put in with her. We are BEYOND pleased with Bulletproof 15-day Board and Train. Dakatoa was Clyde’s trainer and we could not have been more pleased. The communication was top-notch. Dakota truly went above and beyond. He treated our dog like it was his own. We had a two-hour commute there and back but we would do it again if we ever needed to. Sent my 6 month old Australian Labradoodle Bear to BulletProof for 15 day board and train. He was already a pretty good boy and smart, but we were having problems with him walking on leash, esp for my wife who has back problems and can’t have the dog pulling her. We were very nervous about the training because Bear is a sensitive soul. Solomon was our trainer and did a great job listening to our concerns and was great with keeping us updated on Bears progress. When we picked up Bear Solomon did an awesome job training our whole family of 5 on how to handle Bear and all his new commands. We’ve had Bear at home a few weeks now and he is doing wonderful following his commands and especially walking on leash without pulling. I’m typically not one to leave reviews on public forums but they never responded to my email so here we are. I would not recommend Bulletproof for their puppy classes. I think they just have a very poor sense of customer service from the top down. The trainer never really seemed like she wanted to be there and last week one of her “trained” dogs(2) that she brings each week went after my dog. I’m all for dogs figuring it out and learning boundary’s by having dogs kind of put them in their place but this was a bit much. We had only been there for maybe 2 minutes when it happened. Then when we were leaving the dog BIT a puppy coming in for the next class. I’ve reached out twice about it and no response. So if you want to take your puppy to a safe space, with attentive trainers/owners that will respond to your concerns…THIS IS NOT IT. I will be doing my future board and train elsewhere. I sent my 2 1/2 year old pit bull in for the 15 day BNT and i was expecting nothing but greatness and that’s exactly what his trainer Kenzie did! ! She gave me daily pictures and updates on how he was eating and going on through out the process, she made it a point to me in the beginning how her favorites are pit bulls so i knew my boy Goddie would get all the love and support he needed to became the amazing dog he is! The turn over was very fun, very hands on and even though our boy was tired after a long day, we got to learn everything and how to continue this! I just got my boy back 2 days ago and i am able to go on walks without my big boy pulling me and jumping on neighbors!!! Bullet Proof Is Amazing and Kenzie is part of that reason!! More...
