Went to the Hillsdale Location- Food was very good- but they messed up our reservation and the place is So small and crowded it was claustrophobic. My new husband and I just had them cater our wedding, and we could not be happier! The food was delicious and we've had guests comment days later they are still dreaming about it, but we don't have to dream since we what little was left home with us! Shauna was great at working with us to find the best options, and was a pleasure to work with before and during the day. I also have food allergies and it was so nice to know I was safe to eat everything since they could offer it dairy and gluten free. Their bartender was also outstanding, and my friend said the Paloma was the best she'd ever tasted! Definitely check them out! More...

My first time going to Verde Cocina. We loved the service and the food! Yes I recommend this place and plan to make my go to place when I am in Portland. We ordered the ceviche, which was delicious. I loved the marinade! My daughter ordered the enchilada gringa and she loved it. We also ordered the queso fundido with chorizo as our appetizer and that was amazing! I ducked in here for a solo lunch on a beautiful Fall day. The upstairs seating area wasn't to my liking but only because I was alone. It looks fantastic for lunch with the girls, though! I decided that I would go somewhere else; until the bartender spoke to me on my way out. Noe and Anna are the best business owners! They, along with the catering manager Shauna, made catering my wedding perfect. They went above and beyond to make sure the food was perfect. Cooked on site and fresh, my guests LOVED the food. We had food for everyone too! I love their bacon but I have vegan parents and friends and we were all able to eat.
