Jan 2023: Our dog has just spent the last 2.5 years with Buddy, Kevin and Cristal. Our dog would bound out the front door, so excited to see them - they've been a huge part of his development. Kevin and Cristal treated our dog like their own and gave us advice when we asked for it. Freddie spent many nights and a few weeks whilst we went away, without a single issue. So sad we have now moved away from the area, but hoping our dog gets his holidays at Buddy's still. Thank you Kevin and Cristal, you're amazing! Kevin and Cristal are great. Really knowledgeable and lovely - super accommodating. I picked up my two dogs from an overnight stay and they were very happy - they had been brilliantly taken care of and they clearly really like Cristal, Kevin and Buddy! Total peace of mind.

My regular dog sitter was fully booked, so needless to say I was quite nervous about finding a new sitter for my furry baby while we were supposed to go on vacation. After intensive search for a new host, I got in touch with Kevin & Crystal from Buddy's Pet Care. Chester usually barks at strangers, needs a bit of time to warm up to people. As soon as we got at their place for a meet and greet, instead of barking he was all kisses and jumps of joy. I realized that Chester will be in good hands during his 3 weeks stay with them. During our vacation, I received updates with photos and comforting words to let me know that Chester was doing great. It was obvious that they care about dogs - loves and treats them as they are their own. Kevin and Crystal are beyond awesome. Thank you very much for putting me at ease and for taking such a good care of our boy. Highly recommended for all the pet parents. 5 Stars review, very well deserved. Our pup loves going to Buddy's. You can tell Kevin and Cristal put the dogs first and they love having them. For a number of our dog owning friends, it's the only place they'd send their dogs - and we now feel just the same.

Bailey is not the easiest of dogs but from the first stay 2 years ago Buddy, Kevin and Crystal always make sure he feels at ease - Bailey loves his stays at Buddy‘s and I could not reccomend them enough. I had a short visit to China just before Christmas, and I needed some care for my bouncy Australian Shepherd Roscoe. I contacted Buddy’s pet care and received a lovely response. We arranged a meet up so Roscoe and I could meet Buddy and the team to make sure we would all be a good fit together. They were just great! I received updates on how Roscoe was settling in, and he was such a happy chap when I picked him up. He even came home with a doggy cupcake (lucky boy)! We used Kevin to look after our 2 kittens for a week while we were on holiday and have nothing but praise for this delightful man. He is polite, charming and a top character. He came round for 30 mins prior to the sitting window to introduce himself and he was professional and courteous. He even replaced our cat litter when we were running low at no extra cost! My 2 boys, Chester and Little Foot, are mine and my husband's children. We've never left them with anyone other than our parents and even then we find it very difficult. Kennels we've visited have always seemed abhorrent. For us it speaks volumes that we've just booked them in for a weeks boarding with Buddy's Pet Care (!) for our summer holiday this year. This is a first for us but the boys adore their daily walks with Kevin (and sometimes Buddy). I worried I wouldn't find anyone who was willing to walk them as they're defensively antisocial with other dogs but Kevin is so calm and understanding with them that it's actually improved their behaviour on our walks! Kevin looks after my puppy, Tula, every other weekend. Tula is a REAL handful and yet, both Kevin and Buddy take her in their stride.
She always seems happy to go to and doesn't even acknowledge me when I leave her!! Tula gets up early and I was concerned this and her constant playing would be an issue but Kevin is calm and relaxed with her and very understanding.
I would recommend Kevin and Buddy to anyone wanting boarding. daycare or walks and the peace of mind that their dog is in safe hands.

What do you love most about your job?
I think the best part of my job is the look of excitement on each pet's face when I arrive at their house. No matter how bad the weather is or how heavy the traffic, the fact I'm making someone's day more exciting makes up for it!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I worked in Retail Management for over 20 years. Like many people, retail wasn't what I wanted to do, I just fell into it. I always wanted to work with animals but never did anything about it until last year. I love animals and wanted to help them in some capacity. I looked into various roles and was considering training to be an RSPCA Inspector. However, I knew that would be a bad idea as my house would be filled with unwanted and neglected animals and there wouldn't be enough room for me! Also, it is another "Job" and I really wanted to work hard for myself instead of someone else.
So, after working for another dog walker for a year on my days off, I decided to start my own business.
Now, I get to be my own boss, spend my days caring for animals and have more time for me too!

I have 2 cats, Max and Mia and a Black Lab called Buddy, they are not just animals, they are family.

Because I treat all my customers pets the way I would want Max, Mia and Buddy to be treated when I go away.
Dog Walking
Walks tailored to the needs of your dog. Individual walks or small groups of 2-3.
£15 per hour, £5 for additional dogs from the same household.
Discounts available for block bookings.
Dog Home Boarding
Giving your dog a home away from home. Living in our house like one of our pets.
£25 per 24 hours if booking 5 nights or more.
£30 per 24 hours, £10 for additional dogs from same household.
Pet Visits
Visiting your pet in your house to feed, clean, play and cuddle whilst you are out.
£8 for 15 minutes, £10 for 30 minutes.
Discounts available for block bookings.
Pet Transportaion
Does your pet need a lift to the Vets or Groomers?
We can stay with your pet at the appointment too and report back.
£15 hourly rate plus 50p per mile after 5 miles.
£10 minimum charge.
Wedding Dog Chaperone
Want your best friend at your wedding but don't want to feed them, clean up after them and look after them. Let us be their plus 1 and we'll take great care of them.
Prices dependant on services required.
