Tasty, fresh, wholesome pub grub. Good variety of food on the menu. Steak and Boddington ale pie made on site and the cheese and onion pie also. They also make their ownv"kfc" (kellogs fried chicken) burger and sandwich - big appetite needed! Well stocked bar, that also has Wrexham Lager And Wrexham Export!! More...

We stayed here for a weekend in April and it was a lovely little pub/ hotel. |We ate in there a couple of times and it was lovely and all reasonably priced. |The hotel rooms weren’t anything flash and maybe could be updated but we were happy with it in general. Very spacious and was exactly what we needed it for which was just a place to sleep as we were out during the days. |It’s in a great location in a little village which is only a 10 minute drive from the main shops and university area. I stayed only one night. Friendly welcome, very comfy cosy room, very comfortable bed, cosy quiet bar, good beer, delicious big breakfast the next morning, I will come back here when I visit Wrexham again

It was a lovely evening, so we decided to go for a 25 mile drive to the Buck House Hotel. We where not disappointed. The decor is modern and clean, staff friendly and efficient and the food was very good. They have menu with lite bites, so we decided to have a starter and a small main course potion.
