Having just spent three nights at Bryn for a walking and birdwatching break, Bryn is in a perfect location for a non driver like me, only a short uphill walk from Conwy railway station and bus stop yet with easy access to all that the town has to offer. My single en suite bedroom was spotlessly clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent with a fine choice of local produce together with home made jams and scones, an absolute treat. Thank you so much Anne and Neil for your generous hospitality and for making me feel so welcome in your lovely home and garden ( The evening bagpipes were a completely unexpected highlight for me, special thanks to the gentleman concerned!) Our room was comfortable and luxurious.The house has a beautiful garden, with great views of the countryside and the city wall. The house sits right next to the city wall and public transit (train station and buses are a 2 minute walk), so it was easy to navigate from there without having to be in the middle of the crazy crowds. We didn't have a car, and had no issues with that, but this is also a great place if you do have a car as well. My wife and I highly recommend the Bryn Guest House just outside the town wall of Conwy, North Wales. Anne and Neil provide wonderful care and attention at a fair price. Where to begin, well, the hosts, of course, Anne and Neil. They are the best. Engaging and enthusiastic to share their special corner of the world. I have probably never run across a couple more ready to share their space, their knowledge and their love of their environment. It was so much fun. We had a beautiful room looking out on both the Snowdonia Hills and the town and ancient walls. Their breakfasts were superb, with all options you could even think of, including Anne's award winning marmelade and outstanding jams. I think of how few people are suited to the profession of caring for an array of guests, but they are perfect. Wonderful house with large, beautiful, perfectly kept rooms. Wonderful location snuggled up against the city walls with a lovely garden, complete with picturesque pond. Wonderful breakfasts that include the hostess's award winning marmalade. Best of all, a wonderful hostess (we didn't get to meet Neil) who, along with being friendly and welcoming, seemed to truly enjoy finding extra ways to make a visit to her house special. We stayed in room 4 which is large and lovely and has great views. Using the bathroom next door is so convenient it might as well be en suite. We enjoyed two nights at the Bryn Guest House earlier this month. Neil and Anne, the owners- are very personable and congenial hosts, who operate a beautiful and well cared for guesthouse. All guest needs are planned for, down to the smallest details. The rooms are elaborately furnished and the garden area is amazing.
