Brown Brothers is AMAZING! My wife and I used them for our wedding and we couldn’t have asked for more. We had a specific menu in mind for our guests and they were more than willing to accommodate our requests. The staff were professional, friendly, and the epitome of helpful. The service was prompt, and the food was delicious. We even requested they do a milkshake bar instead of cake for our guests and it went off without a hitch. I chose Brown Brothers Catering for our backyard reception because I had heard great things about them. When the owner came to our home to discuss they layout and the menu, and I heard him talk about the importance of making the food from real ingredients (rather than canned), I knew I had made a great choice. The staff came about an hour and a half before the event and had everything set up in just over an hour. They were professional, efficient (keeping the buffet full), kind (offering to get plates for the bride and groom, parents, even the band members), and a great value. After the event, they cleaned everything. I had asked to keep the leftovers, and they put them in storage containers that I provided. It's been so nice to have that yummy food for my out-of-town guests! My experience was so perfect and seamless! We attended a tasting and had a one on one visit with Tony which was super helpful for me as the person paying for the service.

It was easy to contact Tony as I made minor changes to the original contract. These changes were easy and were immediately followed with an emailed updated contract.

The night of the event, the catering team arrived, set up and were virtually invisible as they took care of every food detail, our personal take away treat and served the wedding cake. They cleaned up and left leaving me with absolutely nothing to worry about before during or after the event. The lack of stress is not something I can quantify nor probably thank them enough for.

Two things I believe people remember about a wedding reception are the venue and the food. The food was amazing. The bride and groom chose all savory items which I was reluctant about, but thought turned out really well in the end. The quality was above grade, the food were delicious. We had many comments about the food and there was plenty for all.

Brown Brothers catered my wedding a few months ago and did a FANTASTIC job! Tony and Stacy helped me figure out the perfect menu for both my dinner and reception and answered any of my questions along the way. The staff was wonderful the day of. Brown Brothers Catering was the best. From our very first interaction and tastings with Tony, to final catering changes and counts with Liesel, and lastly to the staff who showed up to the wedding/reception, it was flawless. They catered for my wedding and did a great job. They showed up on time and got set up and ready on time! The food was amazing, every bit worth the price. I had the rose buffet dinner served (added the mashed potatoes instead) and everything was so good. The potatoes are AMAZING! The only part that was frustrating about them was that I had leftover food that they weren't going to allow me to take. In the end they had me sign a waiver, I wish I knew about that before had (might be in the contract but I cannot remember). OVERALL they were amazing and easy to work with. Tony and Liesl and the staff at the event were all highly professional and easy to work with. Response time to initial inquiries was faster than the other caterers I sought quotes from and Tony didn't try to push me on what I wanted OR on my budget. All I had to do was show up. We ran into one issue on site with a late bartender who was contracted out to BB (not their employee) and Liesl issued a credit within moments of my request. Absolutely loved having my wedding here! Beautiful venue (both inside and out) and a reasonable price. My only complaint would have been that they don't allow you to take the dancing outside (where the gorgeous gardens are). However, weather conditions the day of would have made that tricky anyhow. Staff was always professional and helpful and let us walk around the venue multiple times before the wedding. We had a very large reception and the venue fit everyone comfortably while still being elegant and unique. The Woods was my first choice and I am so happy with that decision! I just recently had my wedding here and it was beautiful. I had so many guests tell me how much they loved the venue. We definitely utilized all the space we could, using both the upstairs and downstairs as well as outside. We used only the preferred vendors by choice and they each had wonderful things to say about the woods. Our ceremony coordinator was amazing and made sure everything I wanted was perfect. I am very controlling about how I like things and they were very easy to work with. My wedding here was a dream! The venue is gorgeous and had everything we needed. All of our guests are still complementing us on how smooth the wedding/reception went and how perfect it was. I planned the entirety of our wedding, and working with the staff here was great! They always answered my questions and were willing to talk and show me around anytime.
My only precaution would be to make sure you read through ALL of their policies and know exactly what you are getting. We didn't have any issues, but it could've put a damper on things if I would have overlooked some of the rules.
Overall, it was a great experience with them from start to finish. The day of the wedding the staff knew exactly what to do, and my husband and I knew we got our money's worth.

We held a Celebration of Life for my wife who recently passed away here. Because my wife had been sick for some time before her passing I did have a little time to discuss our event with Brett and he was very flexible to work with.

On the night of the celebration, Brett and his staff couldn’t have been more thoughtful and accommodating. The facility is beautiful, well appointed and very flexible and allowed us to do everything we wanted to do. The evening went off without a hitch and everyone who attended complimented me on our selection of such a great facility.

We called Tony at Brown Brothers Catering in the height of the summer wedding season, to see if he was available to cater an event in two short weeks. He accepted the challenge and delivered an excellent meal that our guest raved about. I arranged this event from another state so we had a couple of hiccups with rentals, but that could have been due to not meeting in person. And Tony bent over backwards to remedy, including calling four rental companies on the day of the event when it unexpectedly rained on our event day. I loved the food provided at my wedding. It was fantastic and I have had compliments about it for weeks! The only trouble I have noticed is communication. It is not the greatest. I had a hard time planning a menu, and didn't get offered to test anything, I just kind of guessed and hoped it would turn out pretty. They ended up creating a STUNNING set up of food, and even decorated the table. I was SO impressed! The other thing I had a challenge with is, I booked a pizza place through them, but when the pizza place was SUPER late, they told me they had no way of communicating them.
