Brooklyn Fitness is a Hybrid between a normal Gym and a Training Studio. All of our members are given personal training programs to learn with a coach and we provide accountability and program updates to ensure you reach your goals. There is no other place like this in NYC.

Brooklyn Fitness has exactly what I needed and required for my health goals. The coaches and independent coaches are all skilled, patient and mindful for your weight loss journey. In 2 words: personal training with flexible scheduling and wise $ I never got better results! You get personalized program that meets your goals, trainer is always there to correct your form, which is super important for the results! Basically you get personal trainer for less money and flexible scheduling(you don’t chase trainer and don’t ruin your plan when something comes up). Open gym access is 24/7 if you want. If you are looking for a gym with a family feel, I highly recommend you try Brooklyn Fitness. I tried them out to help me prepare for the Adidas Stockholm Marathon. I am the kind of person who does not like strength training and need to join a gym to hold myself accountable. I worked with Coach Mario for 3 months. We discussed my goals, likes, dislikes, and made an evolving program. If you are vocal about what you want the coaches will change up your program. For example, I like to keep things interesting by incorporating TRX, sled, and other gym “toys” into my program. Sometimes it takes a few tries, so be patient. It will be worth it when you find the right recipe. The semi private program works with an app. Your sessions can be fairly independent and you will receive guidance from your coach as needed (form correction, use less or more weight, modifications). Most of the exercises even have a video on the app you can follow. I like this concept because I can drop into the gym at anytime and get started on my workout. I really appreciate the flexibility with respect to scheduling also. I have to make a mention that Coach Mario has an amazing attitude. His positivity is infectious and encouraging. I had an awesome experience at Brooklyn Fitness. The facility is very clean and inviting. The coaches are knowledgeable and kind. Before you start you get a full assessment of your body and goals (which was beyond valuable to me). Then a personalized plan is created, tailored to you specifically. And it was so easy to follow, so easy to track progress, and just really broke down the process of making your goals a reality. If you're looking for a trainer in Brooklyn, Brooklyn Fitness is where you wanna go. I've always struggled to move beyond a certain plateau and Chris and Mario have helped push me to help meet my goals and aspire to new ones. No questions asked. The trainers are some of the nicest friendliest people around.They are attentive and always communicating, meeting you where you are and getting you where you want to be. I'm really loving Brooklyn fitness! The workouts are fun and easy to follow on the app. I'm usually not into using my phone when I exercise, but it's very user friendly. I highly recommend Brooklyn Fitness. I’ve never had fitness coaching before and have never been all that confident with weight-lifting, but have felt the need to bulk up lately due to a lot of heavy lifting at work. The team at Brooklyn Fitness have made the experience far more enjoyable and inspiring than I could have imagined. Brooklyn fitness is the best gym in BK. After an assessment, they personalize your workout based off of your needs, the program changes every 30 workouts or so you are constantly being challenged. The trainers are brilliant, they provide tips that make worlds of differences in your routine, not to mention they are badass down to earth and friendly. Fantastic no bs gym for quality training. In a sea of bougie nonsense, Brooklyn Fitness is an oasis of intelligent & straightforward movement programming for all types of people. Plenty of open space and tons of racks, barbells, bands, even two sleds, etc. Never crowded. And the trainers are all super kind and approachable! An immaculate vibe tbh. I know exactly what it's like to feel overtly self-conscious at the thought of being watched, hovered-over and scrutinized by other people while you feel the like the weakest, most infirm piece of disposable meat to the point o0f questioning while it's worth it to even work out. Ruben, Elsie and Tommy have been extraordinary in their efforts to create an environment where it's okay to feel "weak". At 58 years old, I’ve been to many gyms and have had several personal trainers, none of them have come close to the professionalism of the trainers at Brooklyn Fitness. Was seeking a new gym and found so much more here! The training programs are very comprehensive and all the coaches are friendly and motivating. Worked out here for more than a month and already seeing results. I'm especially enjoying the overall vibe of this place versus the big gyms I've gone to before. I can go in, get to work, and finish my plan without a million people in the way. Finally, the bootcamp classes are a major improvement over classes I've tried in the past. I can't say enough good things about my time so far at this gym. The vibes are good from day one, starting with the assessment. I came in knowing I had specific goals I wanted to work towards, but not knowing how to work at them on my own. The assessment really clarified where I was at and helped me sort out what is really important to me about my fitness, and then the next day we got to work on the training. Every trainer I've worked with has been incredible. Their instructions are always really clear, and they work to make sure that your program is challenging but that you understand what you're doing, and they are very aware of making adjustments when needed to keep you progressing through each workout. Our members achieve their goals by receiving a detailed plan on exactly how to do it, then being walked through and supported during the training process. We surround them with an energizing and friendly environment and always know how to modify their plan when life gets in the way. We make sure they get better every single day.

Consistency and patience and being completely honest with yourself are completely necessary to get the body you want. You do not have to dry boring food, but you also cannot go out drinking and then brunch the next day and expect a workout to have its full effect. You have to learn how to live your life, do normal things, but understand how it fits into the overall picture of your goals. That requires honesty and commitment.

Our coaches all agree that changing someone's outlook on themselves and their life is the thing we love most about coming to work each day. We get to re frame people's minds by showing them what they are really capable of.

A giant hole in the training industry was directly responsible for me founding Brooklyn Health and Performance. I saw that only the rich could afford training and then the gyms take most of the money out of the trainer's pockets. Worse off, most trainers really do not have a system. They write workouts, if at all, and there is no overall plan. People deserve better, for a price that they can afford and trainers deserve to have an employer who respects them and bring them on as part of an evolving team. This way when someone hires us, they hire the team and are taken care of by all of us. Its not a gym, its a family.

You should choose us if you want a team of coaches who are willing to sit down with you and make a plan that is for the express purpose of fitting both YOUR goals and YOUR lifestyle. This is not a normal gym. So if you are sick of the big box gyms, and the standard trainers who give everyone the same workout, or the crossfit cult is not for you, then join the gym that is built around you. If you think its expensive to hire a professional, then wait until you hire an amateur. The difference between us an them is palpable from your very first consultation with us. Services

All of our members receive a personal training program and sessions included with their membership. We conduct these sessions in a semiprivate setting, thus drastically reducing the cost to the member and allowing for completely custom fitness coaching!

For members who want to work with us in their own gym or at home, we offer Remote Training via zoom and our app to deliver our highly effective and safe programs.
