I am a science based fitness trainer located in the NYC area. I always look at the body as a whole unit and focus on re-training the body for personal performance(whatever that may be to you). I am also a certified nutritionist and offer group fitness as well as complete programmed calendars focused around your life, schedule, goals, and what you enjoy.

One of the hardest and most rewarding classes I have taken! Paul is incredibly knowledgeable and motivating. He is very thoughtful and really gets to know the people taking his class. I strongly recommend taking Brooklyn Bodyfit classes! More...

As an athlete, I'm always looking for a challenge and Brooklyn BodyFit offers that in abundance. No two classes are exactly the same (even if they have the same title), so the workouts are never stale. I love the energy of the music selection, too. Paul isn't just a personal trainer, he's a walking encyclopedia of knowledge related to the body and how it functions. Also, he knows how to put across very complex information in a "down to earth" way. I'm in it for the long haul, for sure. Thanks, Paul! :) More...

In one word, awesome. Well thought out instruction in class. Consistent and supportive feedback on form correction. You will feel major changes in your level of strength. Your mindset changes from "I can't do that" or "this is difficult" to "I just did that" and "I will get better." Paul truly cares about his students/clients and works hard to see everyone reach their full potential. He will be your biggest cheerleader and wants to see you reach your goals. More...

Q&As

I do more than just look at the body as a whole, I look at the entire person. I create a plan based on your schedule, work, life's stressors, & enjoyments. I find a way to integrate health into your life.

In NYC I believe the answer to this is, Planning. .. Having a complete plan built around your (real) life allows for success. It also allows working out to be a bit more enjoyable vs yet another "to-do".

Figuring out what makes a client successful. Everyone has failed or succeeded for one reason or another. Fitness is very unique to the individual. I love cracking the code to my clients success and getting them to realize being healthy is do'able.

My mother. It's a bot of a long story but she owned a gym when I was growing up. She always wanted me to take it over. I was young and dumb. She passed away. Now every chance I get to work with someone is chance to honor all that my mother taught me.

I am dynamic. I understand that not everyday will be 100%. Every session I will always do my best to interpret, motivate, inspire & dial in.. I am here for you. Now let's have some fun!
