I’m unsure of where to start in order to describe how amazing Brooke was when doing my birth photos. I went into this open minded and still unsure of what to expect and she made sure to go above and beyond. My husband was deployed for our daughter’s birth but with Brooke there, there wasn’t a second that I felt alone. She not only took my daughters birth photos but she helped to create such an amazing, lifelong memory not only for myself but my entire family. Brooke helped me to voice my concerns to the nursing staff and captured every moment that I don’t even recall happening. Without having these photos I’m sure I would have be unable to remember the little moments on the greatest day of my life. She’s an amazing photographer but more importantly she’s an all around amazing person and a blessing to have around. I hope to do at least one more photo shoot with her before we leave island! My husband and I decided we wanted to document the birth of our first baby through pictures and video. We are thankful we found Brooke! We immediately hit it off during our initial meeting, pre baby, and she was thorough in making sure she understood our wants/needs for the big day. When it came time for labor and delivery Brooke beautifully captured the day. I wanted the pictures to communicate the emotion felt that day and they did exactly that, not a dry eye! Not only that, she went above and beyond and helped where needed in the labor room. Brooke stayed the long hours of my labor and was pleasant the entire time offering support when/where needed. Brooke did our first 48 session and I just want to say how absolutely fantastic she is. I had a csection so there was a lot going on and I had a lot of trouble getting up and down. She worked around everything beautifully. She helped entertain my 2 year old while the Dr talked to me, she was extremely patient and kind, and she made everything so easy. Brooke has been amazing! I got connected with her to do newborn photos and wound up getting maternity photos done as well. Best decision ever! She is such a delight to work with and makes everything a breeze. My maternity shoot was planned and organized in less than 12 hours. I went in for a check up at my doctors office and was told I needed to return that evening for induction. I immediately messaged Brooke that our original timeline was not going to work. She looked at her schedule and made it work to squeeze me in 3 hours before I headed to the hospital! It was all so worth it. These are photos that will be cherished forever and I’m so glad we had them done.
