One of our favourites for an occasional meal. The range and quality of food was good and the view of course was excellent. The outdoor terrace is a little shabby but indoors was fine. A pleasant meal, though service was a little slow and the wine did not come until well through the main course. More...

Went for a Sunday lunch ..WOW amazing..4 courses for £22.95 a bargain and the food was to die for. The setting overlooking the river Dee is so picturesque and if u time it right u can watch the sunset while eating. A lovely little find

We love this place. The food, the atmosphere and the amazing views over the river Dee make this a very special eating experience. Quiet expensive however, worth the money. More...

Went with my wife on Saturday night after match at Anfield, really enjoyed meal started with fish platter ref attached, then enjoyed the chatobrian steak, out of this world cooked to required taste excellent. Followed by sweet and cheese and biscuits again ref attached pictures. Really enjoyed the meal. But went home with a flea bite, which was really irritating. More...

Went with my wife, after charity friendly game at Anfield special 4 course dinner, Very enjoyable meal, started with fish platter, then we had a delicious and tender steak with trimmings, we both enjoyed the perfectly cooked main course, then had a beautiful sweet, followed by cheese and biscuits, the view of the sunset was to die for. Staff very attentive without being obtrusive, furnishing and decor very lived in, and I received a bite from something in the furniture. More...

We had a very good meal on a really foul evening so we were not able to enjoy the views. You do have to walk 100 metres down from the parking, but the location is just superb. Good value meal and the service was fine. We suggest you go in a sunny evening and enjoy the view! More...

Six of us had a very nice lunch here today.
A table by the window with beautiful views across to the Welsh hills added to our enjoyment.
The menu is very creative and offers an extensive choice including small plates. Everyone enjoyed their food and would definitely visit again.
We had excellent service from the staff who were friendly and attentive.
Look forward to going again.

We have been several times, including yesterday, 2nd August, we always enjoy our visits.
The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is always excellent, and the views are lovely while dining.
Our only comment is that the toilets need re-decorating.
We shall certainly keep returning.

Had a late afternoon meal here recently and it was good. It is a nice location, but the patio area is a bit shabby and they should clean up the cigarette end around the chimneas more often.

Visited in June 2017 by accident. Just looking for a place to eat on the Wirral. Great views across to Wales and of the old boats and estuary. Food very good and ambience also very good. Saw this restaurant on the John Barnes episode of Who Do You Think You Are. So if it is good enough for him and his crew it is good enough for me. More...

Lovely visit to Sheldrakes today for a work colleagues retirement. Excellent food and service, especially by the lovely new waiter who's only worked there for 2 days, who did an excellent job looking after us all.... Sheldrakes you are lucky to have him! More...

Location is breathtaking and the food is brilliant. We've had various events here as well as low key meals and it's always a wonderful evening.
