On behalf of the members of the Rotary Club of Tooting I would like to pass on our thanks to you and the staff who helped to make our Christmas dinner at the Brook Kingston Lodge Hotel a great success. Your advice on the planning of the event was invaluable and our members and guests have been unanimous in their praise of the location, cuisine and the friendly and efficient service. Special mention must be made of General Manager Mark Coubrough who worked tirelessly and in good humour to successfully resolve issues of last-minute cancellations, unexpected arrivals and changes of menu. Loved our visit here. Stayed for a week. The staff is very pleasant and professional. They offer breakfast and have room service available. They have a lounge area and you must try the afternoon tea. We heard it was great, but didn't get a chance to try it. More...

Had a great cream tea, great sandwiches and wonderful cakes, I would really recommend this hotel, staff friendly and Mark Couborough The General Manager was terrific, nothing was to much, he made sure we had everything and my friend who has a stroller to help her Walk, he couldn't do enough to help her. Attended a Murder Mystery night and stayed overnight. The three course meal included was delicious. The staff were all very friendly and the whole evening was good fun. We stayed in a spacious room which had tea/coffee making facilities, toiletries, hairdryer and even an iron and ironing board. Breakfast was ample with juices, cereals, rolls, croissants, toast, fruit, yoghurts and full cooked breakfast. Would definitely stay here again. More...

My colleague and I stayed for a few days for work. The hotel is very nice and the food was great. The staff were all very friendly but many of them were clearly new at the job. This was no issue however as they were very well managed by the manager Mark, the hotel manager was incredibly welcoming and particularly helpful. He waited on us in the restaurant every day of our stay and took pains to ensure that everything was to our satisfaction. It’s not often that you see one member of staff doing so much but Mark served me at the bar, made sure my room key worked when it failed on the first few attempts and was there every morning at breakfast to get us coffee. ||Our stay was made comfortable and enjoyable and this was in a large part due to the excellent manager. ||The bar also has a good selection of whiskeys and the rooms are very comfortable. The beds are amazingly comfortable, the rooms clean and the staff very polite and helpful. It is probably suited more to business needs than families but my impression was made during the week. The major advantage of this hotel is that it has its own parking area. The only thing that didn't work for us was the menu. Though nicely cooked, the food was incredibly salty pub-style food and the choice for vegetarians was 1 meal. We opted to go elsewhere for further meals. More...

Came here for a murder mystery weekend with a friend. Really comfortable hotel, had a wonderful cream tea by the open fire on arrival. Staff here were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms very comfy, warm and a large bathroom. Dinner was really good and spoilt for choice at breakfast. We've stayed at this hotel a number of times over the past few years and also regularly return for meals. We recently booked the conservatory for ourselves and nearly 40 guests for our 25th wedding anniversary and were looked after very well. The catering organised by Kate was exceptional and our courses were delivered in with military efficiency. Charlie in particular really pulled the stops out and was on hand to deal with any small issues that arose on the night. If you're going for Sunday roast, their gravy deserves a special mention also - although they've yet to reveal the secret formula to us! More...

The building is older but it was well maintained with the exception of the heat. It was a very hot day but due to no air con the building was stiffeling. Friendly hotel,we had a nice room ,only stayed for 1 night ,welcoming friendly hotel ,nice touch with juice and cookies on checking at the reception very convenient for our family party and near venue,the parking was good ,room was clean stayed on the ground floor doors open to a court yard ,which was nice ,the staff work very hard and were helpful ,we had breakfast which was ok ,this hotel could do with refurbishment ,I would stay there again if I needed too

We stayed at Brook Kingston Lodge hotel while our daughter was moving in to her uni accomodation. It couldnt be a better location for us: within working distance to all the shops, a pub, a restaurant, and at the same time in a quieter area of town. Staff was helpful and polite. Lovely and comfortable bar/ eating area. The only 2 complains will be: pillows are of poor quality ( flat, no bounce left in them), and breakfast time ( 8-10) was a bit inconvenient for us. Stayed here for three nights. Check in time was 3 pm but we got the room 45 minutes earlier which was much welcomed. The staff are friendly and helpful.
