Best Venue of ALL OF SAN FRANCISCO!If you got an event that needs a venue or you are an entertainer. I highly recommend Broadway Studios Venue. A lot of great people from Dave Chappelle to Train have been on that stage. Also the staff there is Special thanks to Francesca and Eric. Went here for a conference. The venue was so interesting and rich with history. Francesca was so delightful and enthusiastic about sharing the history. Additionally she was so in tune with the conference participants and their needs, making special decaf coffee without having to ask. The staff was so friendly and helpful in a genuine way. Never have I been to a conference where the audio visual was so well taken care of. There were no glitches because the staff was capable and available so problems that arose didn’t become anymore than a momentary bump. I would highly recommend the venue as an excellent spot for conferences, or other events. It is clear that they are capable of creating an atmosphere that is just right. Fun, secret bar with no signage except a red light above the door. It's a small space inside so definitely a place better for a couple or small group as there is limited seating. My drink was called the Kona cocktail - muddled pineapple with rum...the perfect combo! It was smooth, easy to drink and could've had a few more. Great cozy venue for day events.  Rustic old Barbary Coast feeling space much like the Fillmore.  There is a stage for performers though.  We had a company event here with food and drink served.  We also had a band perform (Saved by the '90s).Good acoustics and plenty of space for about 150-200 people.  Would have more events here if I didn't think my guests would mind  the Broadway neighborhood.Highly recommend More...

This place is the home of the former Mabuay Gardens AKA "The Mab" or "The Mab on Broadway". This spot has a special historical significance to many Punk Rock bands who played gigs here back in the 1980's.

I was there for a concert of a Turkish band Yeni Türkü, the place location is ok with transportation (car) there are many carparks there but if you are going to ts location ın saturday night be careful for finding car parking area. This proved to be a wonderful place to host our medical event in San Francisco back in May! Quite a number of doctors who attended felt this was our best venue yet!  A great compliment, especially since we've hosted at even 4-5 star venues in the past!The nostalgic theater had great atmosphere, acoustics, large projection screens, AV technicians, etc. As a meeting planner, Francesca was detail oriented and a pleasure to work with. This place is the best party venue in SF. We just had my friends ugly Christmas sweater party there last night and the venue, the host Francesca, the overall atmosphere is the absolute best. She's the hostess with the mostess. We ask raised thousands of  dollars for charity and EVERYONE had a good time. Francesca and Carl are the best!! They made all my guests and I feel at home at our event. The food was amazing and the venue was jaw dropping. Francesca is an amazing event planner and really decorated to the theme I wanted. All of the staff was very friendly as well. I thought I posted earlier, but maybe just wrote on Facebook.   What a great event we had one month ago at Broadway Studios!  I'm just looking at all the pictures from my daughter's Bat Mitzvah and really can't get over how this venue really made a huge difference in the feel of our party. It was a fantastic event. The place looked beautiful, the staff was friendly and attentive, the food was terrific, everyone danced all night long and Francesca really added her own special touches to make it a perfect occasion for my daughter and my family and all 115 people that attended the event. Everyone danced for 4 hours straight! The projector screens are fantastic for showing videos and slideshows, the balcony is a cool place to hang out and get away from it all (though most of my guests didn't take advantage of that).  We even did a balloon drop at the end that was really cool. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was that we had a few miscommunications during the planning that I was uncomfortable with. It all worked out great and I can't say enough nice things about Francesca.  I would highly recommend Broadway Studios to anyone planning a fun party (corporate event, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, Wedding etc..)!! I love this place as an event venue. It's spacious, and I love the old theater feel to it. Once you enter Broadway Studios, you walk up a flight of stairs and walk down the main hallway to get to either a reception area or main stage area. There's also an upstairs balcony that has a green room. Francesca and her crew made setup and cleanup easy for us. The main stage area is built for rigging and projection, which is great. The only iffy part was the food. The catered lunch was incredible, but breakfast and coffee break snacks were obviously just sweets from Costco. But overall they are flexible with logistics, which saves us some stress. Overall there are plenty of possibilities to craft your event here, whether its for entertainment or professional development. Check it out! More...
