We had the Pine room for 2 nights with the Double sunken jacuzzi. Absolutely loved it. No regrets, we had a great time!

Attended my Cousins winter wedding here and Everything was perfect. If you are planning an intimate wedding and want all of your guests to feel like VIPs, this is the place to do it. We stayed in a Family Room which was beautiful and I didn't want to leave. My Cousin and her Husband stayed in the Lodge which was absolutely AMAZING!! I could have lived there. The grounds were Beautiful and very well kept and the food was some of the best I've eaten. We had a 2 Night stay and had Breakfast both mornings which was fantastic. If my Husband and I are ever in a position where we can afford to re-new our wedding vows, this is the place we both would choose. More...

My wife and I came here for a weekend for my birthday. The staff were so nice and welcoming. It is in a lovely area with a lovely stream running near it. The food was amazing and so posh. A wonderful hotel, my wife and I were married here, and it was so perfect we've returned for each anniversary (just had our fifth).
The rooms are lovely, the food is great, and the staff create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that it's a pleasure to return to.

My wedding here 4.8.2017. Food excellent. Gourmet menu definitely the best wedding food I've tasted and same said by many guests. Rooms well appointed. We stayed in the Master Suite (naturally) and made good use of jacuzzi. We had 85 guests but I would say the venue suits smaller parties better. More...

My fiancee booked us a room for my birthday. Well it was an amazing experience thank you to the staff we was in Rowan could not fault anything unbelievable service and they were always happy to help. Can't recommend it highly enough, the staff are polite and friendly, I'm a vegetarian and they made every possible effort to cater to my dietary needs. Animals are welcome and they even offer food for dogs, treating them in the same way as guests. The atmosphere is so relaxed and the views are breathtaking. More...

Beautiful dog friendly hotel in the lovely lake district. My friend got married here on a glorious September day.Hotel is set in nice grounds and all the rooms in the main named after trees I stayed in the spruce room. All rooms are different and induvidually themed many have spa baths.Hotel staff are very helpful and I really enjoyed my stay here. Hotel has a small bar at the front of the hotel and a room called the music room where there are books and board games.Breakfast was served in the orangery at the back of the restaurant. Food was nice quality and plentyful - the afternoon tea was particularly lovely.Doggy dinners are availale too for your four legged friends. Dogs are allowed in the bar but not in the restaurant.
