We’ve used Simon Gilvey at Broadland Consultants for some time now both for our residential mortgage and for myself subsequently to arrange a buy-to-let mortgage. He also met with me again recently to discuss a possible future plan and was very encouraging. We have found the advice sound and any arrangement fees are explained upfront in detail and are market competitive. The offset mortgage Simon found for us has allowed us the flexibility we need but with the ability to pay it off much faster than our previous mortgage did. My partner works in financial services but for someone like myself who gets baffled by figures and financial jargon having Simon patiently talk me through options at a level I understand is invaluable.
