I can fully recommend using BBN to help you find a trusted builder. Barnaby at BBN was quick to respond, friendly and super helpful. He quickly organised a visit to my property with one of his trusted builders Will, to assess the job and provide a quote. The quote, for knocking through a wall, moving a radiator and a number of electrical sockets and switches and installing a breakfast bar was very reasonable. The work was then carried out to a very high standard and the builders that BBN recommended were efficient, friendly and communicated well. We are so pleased that we finally found our trusted builder (BBN), specially Peter and Will. They carried out renovations of the toilet downstairs, which they ended up fixing the job of our previous builder. They also fixed doors and radiator. All the work was done to the optimum standard and the results was outstanding! We are even impressed that Peter was very particular into details that he has done every job perfectly! We are so delighted that they worked professionally, and even took all the rubbish in the end. They were very understanding and accommodating on how we would like to get things done, and they did it to their full ability. We are so delighted with the service provided by Bristol Builders Network! They recommended William and his team to carry out our renovations which included creating structural openings between the kitchen, utility room and dining room, fitting a new kitchen, moving radiators, and improving and rebuilding cupboards and shelves. We were so pleased with their work we added more jobs including renovating floors and fitting a new bathroom. All the work was completed to the highest standard and the finished results are even better than we hoped for. The kitchen was beautifully fitted including expertly adapting many of the units to fit our individual dimensions, and the radiators were precisely placed to fit with existing furniture. They worked so hard to give us exactly what we asked for, and we are delighted with all aspects of the job. Once the job started the team attended every day without fail, and all the work was completed in good time and within the reasonable prices quoted. How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
It is about the angle of the roof, it needs to be 2.2m or higher to be useable space, although for a bathroom you can fit a large bath in the corner and get more space out of your conversion.
