About

Growing up with a diverse family, I found myself drawing meaning and values from many places. My family taught me to see beauty and strength in the midst of great difficulties. A tree growing from a rock formation is, to me, as beautiful as murals in impoverished neighborhoods and the strength of people who create and love in lives full of struggles. Those seeking support or change should have a place they are welcome to bring their issues, needs, fears and dreams. My professional training has focused on marriage and family therapy, depth psychotherapy, community animation, ecotherapy, perinatal and postpartum support, and play therapy. I also have a background as a childbirth educator and labor doula.

I use an integrative approach to meet your unique needs in therapy. I offer narrative, play and depth psychotherapy and multicultural considerations. I work with children, adolescents, adults, parents, couples, families, and LGBTQ+ clients. Together we can explore the strengths hidden beneath your struggles and the life story you prefer to live.

Bristlecone Family Counseling works with a wide array of concerns. If you have a particular concern that is not listed here, feel free to contact us. We see clients from age 3 to older than dirt.
