I booked the deal 'Your stay your way' for a friend's birthday. It included a room, three course dinner, use of the spa and breakfast. From start to finish we loved every minute. The service was wonderful at reception, in the spa and restaurant. We stayed on a weekday and had most of the bar to ourselves. It felt very personal and peaceful. Would be great for a couple/romantic visit too. More...

Came here for a day spa and massage. The massage was brilliant and the indoor/ outdoor pool is fun. One or two of the hydro massage things weren't working, but the others were great

On business. Couldn’t of asked for a friendlier receptionist, she was amazing I stayed last night (checked in at 6pm) and had booked a standard double with company, well I arrived and got upgraded to a suite. So I was super impressed as it was a little extra I wasn’t expecting. Shame just one night but hotel was clean and noise free and staff so welcoming and attentive. Receptionist gets a big whoop whoop! As so engaging, company should be proud to have her as part of their fab team. More...

They couldn't find our booking for afternoon tea. Turns out they booked us in for the wrong day and informed us the kitchen was closed. In the end the allowed us to eat and gave us a complementary glass of prosecco. It was lovely and we really enjoyed the afternoon tea. More...

Lovely afternoon tea, we were in the glass conservatory and did have to get up & ask for some more tea and milk, which was a shame. However sandwiches were nice & scones simply delicious! Dining more suited to couples & romance rather than a friends catchup! More...

Visited Fredrick's hotel for Afternoon Tea to celebrate a birthday with my family. The staff were friendly and the food was tasty. We had a slight issue where the spoons given to us were too big to fit inside the shot glass one of the desserts was in. We also had a profiterole that had no filling inside. Other than that everyone enjoyed themselves and I would be happy to go back again. More...

Positive: Decent size pool and relaxing area around it. Nice hotel rooms and bathroom. Dinner was exquisite and staff serving you were very quite classy.
Negative: Spa area was fairly poor( steam room for 3 and sauna fitting 3-4 max). Half of the showers in spa area were not functioning(I guess not our luck). We had 1dirty bath robe upon arrival and had to chase staff to replace it.

room was clean, good shower, coffee machine and kettle, minibar and very spacious. hotel is well decorated. spa is a little dated, but outdoor pool is good and with a bar plus staff on hand. gym is small but well equipped. machines could use maintenance.

the real gem is the restaurant. the food cannot be faulted. chef included an iced tequila and jelly with sorbet with desert course which was a nice touch. keep up the good work.
