Brighton Decor worked in tandem,m with Temple Builders and provided an expert service. Rich and Adrian took on most of the work themselves but additional painters and decorators were equally efficient. The whole team was punctual and amiable and went out of their way to explain procedures and choice of materials. As we needed substantial painting, decorating and general refurbishment, we regularly asked if additional work could be added in. all was quickly agreed and priced. We chose Brighton Decor (BD) over other firms as they insisted on doing the job properly, not cutting corners, asking for a deposit and only using unadulterated materials. The whole of the ground floor was tackled in one go, with three days at least spent rubbing down all surfaces with the amazing sander/vacuum device. This produced almost no dust and as the floors had been covered in cardboard protector and the big items of furniture in numerous dust sheets, cleaning up at the end was minimal. After working more or less non-stop all day, time was taken to hoover up and check for mess daily. The job over-ran slightly but only because of the insistence on perfection which meant more sanding!!!Although the initial price was slightly higher than others, the overrun meant that the daily rate was more similar to others as the quoted price was the finished price. It was great to see the clean lines and edges re-emerging from probably sixty years of being painted with many coats and the finished rooms feel and look fresh and cleaner than before and we will not hesitate to have Adrian and Rich back in the New Year for phase two of the update on our house.Thanks guys, you delivered what you promised at the price you quoted, an unusual phenomenon these days. restoring our staircase. It became quickly apparent that the team is well qualified as all-around decorators intern and extern, who will tackle any job small and large with sound experience and positive attitude.
The standard of work has been consistently good with thorough prep work (especially wood), something which is rare these days. They take pride in their work and will finish to a high standard. We found them always polite, tidy, certainly trustworthy and they will deliver on time. I would recommend them.
