From the first time I walked into the shop till the last time when I picked my wedding dress up the ladies at the dressing room were amazing. I struggled to find what I thought I wanted and then they showed me a dress and as soon as I put it on my words were "I am getting married in this dress". Every appointment, email or call the ladies were professional, helpful and I cannot recommend them highly enough. The sixpence was a beautiful touch on my wedding day. These guys are absolutely amazing! I enjoyed every appointment and everyone was always so happy and helpful that it made finding my perfect dress easy. I was so incredibly nervous to go dress shopping but you guys made the experience so enjoyable and helped to deal with my nerves so well. I got my gorgeous dress in the sale event here yesterday. From the moment we walked in me and my friend were made to feel extremely comfortable and at ease. The shop is beautiful and there are some stunning dresses to try. We weren't rushed or pressured and the girls there couldn't have been more helpful and are clearly very experienced and know exactly what you need. I can't recommended this place highly enough. (On behalf of my sister Steph) I’m not on Facebook, but via my sister I want to shout from the rooftops how utterly wonderful the ladies of The Dressing Room are! !!! In my original plans I never wanted a proper wedding dress - I’m in my 40’s, it’s my 2nd marriage and let’s just say I’m extra curvy..... however, after various unsuccessful shopping trips with my sisters I just couldn’t find an outfit that felt special enough, so after a fair bit of protest I finally agreed to try a few wedding shops... the first shop we tried had lots of beautiful dresses, but not a great range for my shape and the sales lady could not have been less interested - my reluctance for a wedding dress was just made worse!! But then, next stop Garstang - The Dressing Room, the amazing Claire & Helen were not only ready for me, they had pulled out a variety of dresses for me to try & within half an hour of meeting them my wedding day plans suddenly felt as special as they should feel! I’m getting married on Friday, and this morning I collected my beautiful dress - I literally cannot wait, and I cannot thank Claire, Cathy & Helen enough for the amazing stress free experience I had choosing and buying my dress.. ❤ Thank you! The team at the dressing room were perfect in every way! They made me feel like a princess, the attention to detail in the alterations process was 1st class and on the day of collection they were so lovely and made me so happy that I had chosen them! From the first time in the shop until walking out with my dress - each visit was as amazing as the other. Cathy and the ladies can't do enough to help and make you feel at ease finding your dress. Admittedly I am awful at making decisions, but they always stuck with me and helped me find 'the one'. Not just their service is second to none but their seamstress work is amazing too. The dress I picked was strapless but I wanted straps, they got extra lace which matched the dresses and genuinely made the straps look part of the dress. When I told people they had been made and added they couldn't believe it!! Definitely worth a visit - such a lovely experience and so personable. Don't buy your dress anywhere else! The team at the Dressing Room Garstang are just so lovely; whatever you're looking for, whatever kind of wedding you're having, they'll help you to find just the right dress. Although I live in London, I came back to the north west to find my dress, and Claire, Vicky and Cathy were so helpful and accommodating right the way from trying on dresses on to my own dress arriving. I wish there was a 100 star option!!!!! I literally can't thank Cathy, Claire, Vicky and Helen enough for everything they have done for me. Buying my wedding dress has been the most wonderful, memorable, perfect, stress free experience and it is down to the AMAZING staff at the Dressing Room! From my first time walking in through the door to book my appointments, to trying on, to finding "the dress", it's been the best time ever! I had advice on dresses I would never have even looked at - one of which was incidentally the one I bought as it was the one!! These ladies know exactly what they're talking about and are amazing at what they do! We've had lots and lots of laughs along the way (singing dogs anyone!?) and going in the shop has been a big highlight of this journey. My bridesmaids dresses were perfect, my dress was perfect and the service outstanding. My maid of honour has also now bought her wedding dress there - says it all really!!!! This shop is like a home from home, they honestly look after you so well and nothing is too much trouble. I found my dream dress here and I can honestly say I loved every minute. Losing a fair bit of weight made some of the decisions in sizes harder to make but I trusted their advice. Vicky worked wonders with my dress and I'm so grateful. From the moment I made the appointment to the day I collected the dress you've all been nothing short of amazing, being fussy with every aspect of the wedding I expected the dress to be the most stressful part but it was the total opposite, from the fantastic girls in the shop and their patience in helping me pick the perfect dress to Cathys amazing skills in making alterations to the dress to make it everything I wanted it to be, it was perfect and I just loved wearing it, I didn't want to take it off!!! I would like to say a BIG thank you to Cathy and her team at The Dressing Room! From the first appointment to the last appointment I received first class customer service throughout! They took the time and efffort to help find my dream dress and made it such an enjoyable experience! The team made me feel so welcome and special! They even thought of everything by giving me a lucky six pence for my shoe and a little goodie bag which the little things really do count!

I felt so beautiful in my wedding dress I didn't want to take it off! My husband was so blown away with my dress that he wants to frame it! Thank you for all your hard work! I hope to see you soon to show you our wedding pictures!
