Briana took our wedding photos in April. They are amazing. We had a magical day and she captured it all beautifully. From our engagement photos to the big day itself she was friendly and really easy to work with. Nothing was too much bother. She was really relaxed and put us totally at our ease during the day, so we were able to relax and be our selves in front of the camera. This shines through in every shot. We've never looked so good! The photos are creative and fun and look utterly amazing. They are an amazing keepsake of a wonderful day. More...

Well a fantastic time was had by all at Vikki’s 30th Birthday party.
This was captured so beautifully and naturally by Briana Drury.
After a few requested Photos the rest of the evening was all about catching the moments, which Briana did perfectly.
Vikki loves photos and Briana has certainly made her birthday an occasion she will remember forever. A very professional experience and Briana was very discrete in capturing the moments.
Thank you so much Briana. More...

Q&As

In my opinion there are several elements which you need to focus on when taking a great photograph.
1. Composition, it should help draw the eye to the focal points in the image and allow you to move through the image. It should be pleasing and it should accentuate the subject.
2. Subject. You need to have a subject that tells a story, gives interest and draws the viewers in.
3. Focus. The focus needs to be thought out and well executed. It should draw interest to the subject and main focal point, especially if you are using a short depth of field.
4.Detail. Details, that sometimes aren't always obvious on first glance, but gives layers to the image as the more you look at it the more you might see. It could be detail is given through texture or colour, through depth, especially if the image is in black and white.

I will give many options and always try and tailor the day to create a bespoke service for all my clients, so knowing as much as possible is critical. As to what exact questions, it very much depends on what type of photography my client is looking for. For example, if it is for a Wedding Photography client, I like to have an informal chat to start with, get a real feel for what they are looking for, their ideas and dreams for the day. After that then I like to ensure I know the running of the day, who, what, where. I ask what group shots (if any) they would like, and who that is special to them that they would like photographs of through out the day. I think this is especially important when you are photographing an event that has a lot of reportage style photography as this ensures that you have images of people from your special day that are dear to you and really help to add to your memories of the day.

So many things! I love creating beautiful images. I love meeting new people and going to new places. I love being part of something special. I particularly love watching people see their images and the delight and joy each memory I have managed to capture gives.

I have set up the company so I can focus on my passion for photography, applying a range of techniques creatively to truly capture those moments and tell your story. I have taught and worked in Photography for over 10 years and enjoy teaching workshops and capturing beautiful images.

My previous experience has given me a wealth of knowledge and skill and I understand how important and special your day and event is, and how vital it is to make sure that the photography captures all the elements of your magical event in a discreet and calm manner.

It is so important to know you can trust your photographer. It is your day, not the photographer’s, and I believe it is important to be as unobtrusive as possible, so as not to interfere with your time with your friends and loved ones.

I have a strong background in the Arts having studied and attained an HND in Public Art, a BA (Hons) Degree in Design and Applied Arts and I have a PGDE in Art Education. This has been put to good use working in Photography and sharing with the younger generation by teaching Art & Photography for over 10 years.
I have, for as long as I can remember, had a real love and connection with photography, so much so during the years I have been a teacher and a head of department I introduced and taught photography at several schools, inspiring and nurturing the next generation of budding photographers.
