Very unprofessional. Tried collecting fraudulent fees. Late paying taxes. Always threatening with his attorney when you demand to have copies of anything he has supposedly done. Exorbitant fees for incomplete or non existent work. If he solicits you….run!!! More...

Worst experience ever! He takes your money and does 0 work in return. I paid him over $10k and all I ever received were excuses.
He has yet to file any taxes for the last 3 years- and now refuses to give me copies of my books. I've also found out he took more money than agreed upon through payroll services.
Karma- for the fact that he is now being charged with at least 72 Felony charges. Whats insane, while on bail he is that hes still trying to scam others looking for business under different names!

PLEASE DO NOT USE THE SERVICES OF BRIAN L WADE. He will take money without completing any or barely any work. We had to hire someone to go back 4 years of financials to complete what Brian never did. We hired him in February 2020. He seemed like an amazing person that would help with the accounting and payroll side of our business. He promised time after time to complete taxes for us. He blamed us, which he is good at doing, when he didn’t meet deadlines. We kept giving him chance after chance because we knew we paid him too much money already. After many notices from the IRS, we decided to part ways with Wade and the nightmares worsened. He is currently charged with 72 felony counts, which can be seen by googling his name. Other victims’ accounts of dealings with Wade were like we wrote them ourselves. We were all conned in the same ways, just in different dollar amounts. Don’t let this happen to you! More...

Working with Brian Wade is less desirable then having a colonoscopy and a root canal on the same day. He takes your money and gives you nothing but excuses and BS in return. I paid him over $14K for work and he continued to give me the runa around over and over. Even after being charged with at least 72 Felony charges he continued to lie to me over and over. He finally provided me papers with numbers on them on Feb 1st. These weren't even close to being my numbers. I'm now concerned my taxes are messed up as well. I feel he sits in his office and when he isn't scamming others, posting fake awards orcrying about the lie he created on social media He takes yatzee dice and makes up books for people.who paid for his services if you read this and still hire him that's your fault. Don't be fooled like the rest of us he scammed. To his lawyer this is an honest and true review so save your time and save a tree don't bother trying to threaten me!!!! More...

72 Felony charges, and more victims are coming forward. It's awesome when the owner of a business writes his own one star review by getting raided by the police, the state attorney general, and 2 federal agents FBI and IRS.
One star because zero or negative stars is not an option. The local, state and federal agents did a raid on his business on Friday, January 19, 2024, and arrested Thursday, January 25, 2024. I strongly recommend you do NOT use Brian Wade for your accounting needs. It was the worst experience I have ever had dealing with a ‘professional’ business provider.
At my first meeting with Brian he seemed friendly and knowledgeable. He informed me he did taxes for other real estate agents (I am a realtor and own short term rentals) and used some names that I recognized to increase his credibility. Against my better judgment I prepaid Brian to complete my taxes with the expectation they would be completed by filing time, which was 4/18/23. No other accountant had ever asked me to prepay for their work. Why would they? They have my taxes in their possession and I need to pay for them in order to get them back and for them to be filed.
Throughout this process Brian was extremely difficult to contact. I was unable to get on the phone with him for questions I had. He responded to some emails in the beginning but became more and more difficult to get in touch with as filing time approached. I sent him an email on 3/24 asking him how the taxes were coming along and if he expected to complete them by 4/15, forgetting we had until the 18th to get them done. He replied back ‘Yes sir.’ This indicated to me he had it all under control. On April 11th I emailed Brian and asked him when he would have my taxes ready for my review. I wanted to go over them with him before they were filed. I informed him I wanted to see them Friday of that week because they were due the next week. His response via email was ‘Will do and Tuesday just an fyi’. Indicating I had the wrong due date. At that time I did not have any emails from Brian indicating he would need more time to complete them. On April 14th he replied to an email I sent him asking if I could pick up my taxes on Sunday or Monday since they were due Tuesday, April 18th. His response on April 14th at 1 am was ‘At the latest I will have your return by the end of the day.’
He informs me on April 17th his wife fell and got a concussion and he was in the hospital with her. Now he asks me if he can file an extension for me but ‘just for a few more days to get caught up’. What am I going to say now. His wife has concussion and its April 17th. Do I have a choice. Of course I agreed to the extension. On subsequent communications I asked him to send me the proof he filed the extension. As of the writing of this review I still do not have that proof.
This story could go on and on. I have every email and instant message saved of what he promised and did not deliver. I finally terminated his services on June 27th. I requested my personal information back along with a refund of my payment for services not rendered. I threatened legal action on June 27th. His response to me was ‘Greg. Sorry you are upset’ I am out of state until next week.’ I went to the Hampden Township police department and was advised to send him a certified letter requesting he give me back my information and my money or it would be treated as a crime. I guess this got his attention. He actually sent me two emails asking when I would be in to get my information. I arranged to pick up my documents and refund check on Friday, JULY 21st. Mind you, taxes were due April 18th. At the time I picked them up I ended up getting into a screaming match with him about him not getting the taxes done. His response was to accuse me of lying about him in an email I sent to a client of his services that HE used as reference. NOT an apology for not getting them done. I l left in shocked disbelief at his demeanor and his reaction to my telling him I was disappointed in him not getting them done. Holy Cow. I have no proof he ever did anything at all on my taxes except mail out a 1099 for me.
I have read the other negative reviews on here and his responses to them have been to blame the client or threaten them. I can only imagine what this review will bring. I guess we will see.

I personally have never done business with this company; however, I know a handful of people who have/are. It’s because of their experience, and them not receiving their taxes in a timely manner, and having to file extensions, that I would never do business with him or his company. I have an accountant who does my taxes within a two-week period and have never had to file an extension. I do do my research and I do back small businesses, but only ones with good customer service! From what I’ve been told, there Is a huge lack of communication; taxes are not done in a timely manner, no matter how early you get the paperwork in; maybe that’s why the rates are so reasonable. Brian Wade's first impression was great, he sounded on the ball and very responsable with expressing how communication is very important. We started the process and I sent all documents to home that were requested. During that time there was very minimal communication. It was Friday just before the deadline date for business taxes to be completed and I did not hear from him or recieve anything. I had to track him down that Friday and he sent the statements over that day. I had to review and discuss over the weekend for the final on Monday. I also had to go to his place of business prior due to not getting back to me regarding a question or two on my business taxes. For my personal taxes we faced the same issues. He did not get in-touch with me and I had to keep emailing and calling him. When he sent over my personal information and we finalized it was past the due date. I feel he knows what he is doing with taxes overall but the process, communication is very unprofessional. I recommend someone from my family to go to him at the beginning and today June 3rd. He still had not completed her personal taxes and she had tried multiple times to contact him. I would not recommend Brian Wade moving forward. Thanks Jobe Chronister More...
