Brian is able to capture those magical little moments that you dream of. Not only is he fun and so easy to work with, but once our wedding started no one even knew they were being photographed because he is so unobtrusive.
When we did group photos he was so easy going and never stressed anyone out. When we look back at our photos, we see that he really captured the happiness of the day (without anyone looking stiff or posed). He was fabulous!!

Brian of Brian James Photo Studio is one of the best professional photographers out there! After working with him on a business photo shoot for my website last year, I subtly hinted to my now fiancé that it would be so wonderful to have professional photos of our engagement whenever it happened.
My fiancé remembered how much I loved working with Brian and secretly hired him to capture the moment when he popped the question.
Brian was extremely responsive throughout the planning process. He arrived at the secret location and kept himself totally hidden -- I was shocked! The photos Brian captured of the moment my fiancé got down on one knee are memories I will cherish for a lifetime.
After he popped the question, we spent another 40 minutes or so doing a mini-engagement shoot. We got engaged near the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and I was shocked at how many different cool locations Brian knew within walking distance -- some of our photos don't even look like they were taken in the city. I was super impressed with the variety of photos we received. Brian was helpful in directing us into poses and keeping things fun throughout the session.
We received a few preview photos that night (so much fun to see just an hour or so after it happened!) and received the rest of the gorgeous photos about a week later. I was so pleased with the final result of the photos.
Brian's creativity, vision, editing skills and professionalism shine. You won't regret working with him.

We had a professional shoot with Brian and he juggled each of us and then in groups. Meanwhile he had to figure out how to do this with a Mom and her toddler who wanted nothing more than to cling to her. If you are looking for a photographer who can 'sell' you to casting agents then Brian is your man. I've had more casting agents tell me that what they want is a headshot that looks like the person who is auditioning for a part. Many casting agents have told me that my headshots show the 'real me' and the best of me at the same time.
