Me and my other half have just got back after a fabulous "introduction to bread making course". Excellent teaching, cracking lunch and to top it off 5 bakes each to enjoy at home. Cannot recommend more.

Seriously fantastic baking. The sourdough bread and the teacakes/buns are brilliant, but best of all is the lovely rosemary focaccia.

Good REAL bread. Bouncy filling that doesn't tear up at the first sight of a butter knife, crispy crust and gorgeous flavours.

Best bread ever!
The fat white loaf is so much like my favourite german bread which I really miss.
Got one for my friend as well.
She loved it too :)

The fig and fennel this week is gorgeous. Nice and generous with the juicy figs. I thought I was lucky getting one in my first bite but they just kept on coming. Can't wait for my next order.

Had a brilliant time yesterday attending a bread making course run by the lovely Susan of Bread in Common. We made everyday loaf, foccacia, seeded loaf, English breakfast muffins and fruit tea cakes. And they taste delicious. The lunch was fabulous too. I can highly recommended this course to anyone wanting to learn to bake bread, brush up on their skills or to learn things new. More...

Do not underestimate the power of real bread n buns! ...Filling, excellent VFM & pure goodness!! (I only managed 1 teacake! now that's quality!). The 'fat white' ..'feels' crackling crust yeilding to firm flavourful middle; perfume of human skin. 'Teacakes' combine a zingy, fruity taste with the comforting hug of new walking socks...& hold their own in an angry toaster. More...
