What platforms do you build websites on?
To best serve our customers we stick to Squarespace so that you can easily maintain and update your own site once it's built. For more about the benefits of Squarespace, check out our blog.

How long is the process?
Most projects are completed in 10 business days, but depending on which services you choose for your custom project, we will set a realistic timeline with you!

What do I need before I start?
When you're booking Branding Services you'll need to have your basic company information already hammered out. We will go through some brand discovery with you, but the more you have prepared the smoother our process will go. We recommend looking through our discovery resources before you reach out.

Do you design ecommerce sites?
Of course! We've got you! We love designing for ecommerce and you'll find it incredible easy to manage your ecommerce with Squarespace's built in capabilities.

Do you require a retainer?
Yes, for custom work we take a 50% deposit to book a timeslot, and then the other 50% is due upon completion of services before delivery of final files. For premade designs, the cost of the design and any live build (video call) sessions must be paid upfront.

We love getting to know each of our clients, and become invested in their success. Seeing your logo for the first time (especially in print) and launching a website are always some of most exciting stages of starting or rebranding a business, and we want to be there for all of it!

We started our branding business because we wanted to help women grow their entrepreneurial efforts. As we grew, our favorite part about our work was always getting closely involved with women in the beginning stages as they pursued their dreams. We loved getting to know each of our clients, and became invested in their success. But we felt like there was something holding us back from freely sharing all of the knowledge and skills we wanted to. We figured out that the barrier was one, our schedules and two, old methods of doing business that dictated owners should not share too much information or risk losing business.

We realized that in order to best serve our mission of being a source of support, we wanted to be able to give our hard-learned skills and knowledge freely. We came to understand that most women who are badass enough to bootstrap their own businesses typically can’t initially invest a lot of money in branding or consulting, and furthermore, are often told (incorrectly) that they need to. We never want to be a source of financial burden or misinformation, so instead we host an online community that offers free resources and encouragement to any woman who wants to start a business.

Branding Babes is a space where female entrepreneurs can go to access free mentoring, free tools, and affordable brand building services to launch and grow a successful business. We find that most free resources in our industry are provided to drive sales, and while we encourage this method of providing value for an audience, that is not the type of business we are working to build. Instead, we are working on launching a non-profit - so that we can continue to give back and provide real help for generations of female entrepreneurs to come. We can't wait to see where this journey continues to take us, and we are so grateful to have you along for the ride!
