- Strong, benefit-led, marketing propositions that will motivate the audience
- Powerful imagery that takes priority over text - the web is a visual medium
- Just enough information to persuade, not too much to confuse

This information will often be worked out during discussion with the client, but ideally:
- What are the objectives? ie what are you looking to achieve with this work?
- Who will be the target audience/s?
- What are the expected outcome and deliverables?
