Attended Christmas night here on friday night. There were 8 of us. Had a great night from start to finish. The room was nicely decorated and was. just the right size. The meal was very good value at 35 euro for a two course with mince pies and coffee or tea for afters. This included a brilliant d.j and photo booth. The food was gorgeous. More...

We booked & stayed in a family room for 1 night . We had got a good deal on line & just had to pay extra for the kids breakfast. | the room had 2 single beds & a large double bed , plenty of space, it was quiet .|There was a TV problem but it got sorted quickly by the Scottish Porter who couldn't be more helpful.|We only had breakfast in hotel which was lovely, fry ,cereals, fruit croissants and I asked could I have an omelette, this took a few mins to cook , but it was fluffy and gorgeous,|Underground parking beside the hotel| I would definitely stay at Bracken court again . The hotel is in a great location. Centre of the town with plenty of options for eating, shopping and bars. The beach is only minutes away. The room was very spacious and nicely presented. Good size clean bathroom with plenty of towels.|The only bad thing I could say is the bed was too hard. Great pillows though.|Staff very friendly and helpful. |The residents bar closed a bit too early and it was difficult to get a drink. More...

My gal and I spent a week at the Bracken Court. It was excellent. The staff were warm, welcome and extremely helpful. We used Balbriggan as a home base and utilized the train to Dublin and the M1 by car. It was very convenient. I happen to be a very picky eater but I was able to find nice food alternatives. Make sure you sample the fish and chunky chips. We plan on returning to the region in the future and we will definitely keep this hotel in mind when we do. More...

stayed bank hol weekend , lovely room 411, only down point but not major was the arch wall in what is a new decorative wall on front of building so we could only see a grey wall |,so whatever made them put the arch there is a mystery, just ruins the room rest of wall is flat so dosnt obscure windows , dinner in restaurant on sat night was ecellent , with brilliant service could do with a side plate on table , breakfast on sun was awful, its self service with a a guy behind counter dishing out food , it was cold and poor quality, we had dinner on sun night and it was a disaster, the service was terrible, 2 servers on and only 5 tables occupied, when we got there at 7pm the tables were not laid up, we were sat at a table that was partly made up waitress then brought more cutlery but still not every thing, soup arrived and then the bread came when we had almost finished soup, main course was cold had the pasta and it was terrible sent it back and it came back after being microwaved and was just a congealed tasteless mess, dessert was great, breakfast on monday was 100 per cent better, a lovely lady serving the food and cooked lovely fried eggs, the sausages and white pudding is very cheap produce, but was cooked nice and was hot , so hotel is lovely, great music in bar both nights, and if u get the right waitress the food in restaurant is great, and also same for breakfast if u get the right person serving it will go back again but hope they have sorted the food issue out

Had a very enjoyable 3 nights here in an adequate double bedded room. Arrived to be greeted warmly by friendly staff. Paid an extra 10 euros each for breakfast which was ample and satisfying with cereal & fruit followed by a cooked serving of your choice. A bar could be accessed from a door adjoining the hotel reception. Lively and friendly with live music on certain nights. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again whilst visiting family in Balbriggan. Popped by for some lunch today. Ordered the chicken and chorizo pasta dish with a side dish of garlic cheese fries. ||Didnt take long for the food to come out and it was a pretty generous serving. Really nice lunch and the establishment seemed like a nice place for a few pints after work. ||If in Balbriggan, its definitely a good place to go for lunch. More...

This hotel which is in the very heart of town lacks clear signage and the town makes it difficult if you miss it to be able to readily turn around. It does have a carpark which appears to be shared with nearby offices. The only challenge with the hotel is if you have to park on the lowest level you can only get a lift to the upper level carpark and then walk up teh car ramp to teh ground floor.||||The rooms are OK but like most mid to low range hotels they give you a TV but the only option to watch it is to sit on the bed. This might be OK for the majority of people but certainly is not my idea of confortable to watch the TV.||||One thing I have found over the last couple of weeks is when you book a hotel via a hotel booking site you can expect to be put in a room at the back of house. It took me a while to realise this until I started thinking why am I always looking away from the good views the hotel has on offer. This hotel could not have given me a room further away from the front unless they gave me the back yard. This is disapointing to say the least.||||Anyway back to the hotel the room was acceptable but it woudl have been nice to have a simple thing like a clock in the room. I tend to wake up in teh middle of the night and like to get an idea how long till I need to get up. I am one the lucky people who always wakes up at the correct time regardless of when that is without the need for an alarm but. More...

It’s an older hotel. But it is kept up well and very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was very quiet. Being close to the rail station made it handy to go to Dublin though it was a 45 minute ride. More...

Loved the private parking garage, quick access to hotel restaurant and bar, and friendliness of staff. They were very helpful in addressing our questions. The only issue we encountered was a poor draining shower pan and overall a shower that just needed to be updated. Overall, a good stay for the right price. More...
