What do you love most about your job?
I love helping people create something that enables a business or organization to optimize their workflow, to make their work easier and more efficient - solving a problem with a custom solution by applying the power of today's technology.
I love the artistic-design, front-end work -- making things look great and user-friendly. I also love the technical, detailed logic in the back-end work.
What inspired you to start your own business?
This is a second career for me.
My first career was working with children and youth who live in at-risk neighborhoods. I was an after-school program director for most of my 20 years with UrbanPromise in Camden, NJ. My interest and transition into the web design world began with a project to create a student information system database that tracked registration, demographic, and attendance data across the multiple programs UrbanPromise has throughout the city of Camden.
Another reason for the transition was that I experienced partial hearing loss. As it was becoming more difficult to function in the after-school program (not the quietest environment) I began teaching myself WordPress and the various computer code technologies. In 2017 I was able to make the transition into WordPress freelancing on a full-time basis.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have skills within the whole spectrum of what is needed to create and maintain a website. I know the inner workings of WordPress as well as hosting/server side.
I am known for being reliable, detail-oriented, and an effective problem solver. I also have a strong commitment to communication. I answer all calls/messages on a same-day basis.
I am looking for long-term relationships with clients. If you don't have the time and/or interest in learning the inner workings of WordPress and are looking for someone to be available for support and troubleshooting after the initial launch - we would be a good match.

If you know what you want, have wireframes, mockups, or an example site link (I want my site to look similar to .......); I can create a basic site in a couple days, especially if you have all your images and text ready to go. However, if you are not that far along in the process I can help as well. I can help you develop the basic message you want to communicate, along with a design that will add to the effectiveness of communicating that message.

Beyond the design of a website, I can build in additional functionality and/or customization. I also provide ongoing support, troubleshooting and debugging.
