I should have written a review years ago, when I first worked with BL, but better late than never I suppose...First off, you will work with extremely professional, talented & honest people. Brit was really helpful with wardrobe questions that I had, listened to my hair & make-up requests & delivered, and told me about aspects of some of her other shoots that might work for mine. Ryan is a welcoming, kind & encouraging photographer with a killer sense of humor! The 2nd time we worked together, I was ready to do more candid photos, with a boudoir twist, rather than strictly pin-up & the results were breathtaking. I am so not a girly girl, so when my husband surprised me with a shoot I was excited but terrified!!! Completely terrified, if he had told me before he paid I probably would have talked him out of it. My husband purchased the shoot as a gift to me after loosing 85lbs in hopes it would spark a little self confidence and help me feel beautiful, sexy and have some fun. Fun seriously, I thought for sure I would fall and break my neck because I never wear heels taller than a couple of inches and/or puke all over Ryan. I was still very nervous when I got there but Ryan and Brittney did an awesome job of helping me feel comfortable and relaxed. Brittney nails the pinup hair and makeup style, I couldn't believe it was me in that mirror! Ryan and Brittney helped pick out outfits that worked the best and Brittney was there the entire time helping me get every pose just right. When I open the email to review the pictures for the first time I truly could not believe it was me on the screen! In the end I was wrong and he was right, Mission accomplished I feel beautiful and sexy in my new body thanks to Ryan, Brittany and my amazing husband. With my wedding anniversary quickly approaching and my husband deployed I had to find a good photographer who could help me give him the perfect gift. I researched every boudoir studio around here for probably two weeks and kept leaning towards Boudoir Louisville. I knew this was the best place for me but I had few questions before I booked my shoot so I called Britt and left her a voice mail. She called back a few minutes later as nice as could be and answered all my questions very thoroughly. I finally booked my shoot and could not wait! Of course I was running a little late but Ryan and Britt were super nice and ready to get started as soon as I got there. I laid all my outfits out and we picked which ones would be best then started the photo shoot. They were both very nice and professional, we made small talk throughout the shoot. Britt helped pose me and Ryan helped with my facial expressions. The studio is absolutely gorgeous as well. The next day I received a link with my pictures and could not believe my eyes. They were AMAZING! I was so excited to show my husband but I kept it a surprise and mailed him a photo book. He got it just a couple days before our anniversary and was so in love with the pictures. He said it was definitely the best anniversary gift ever :) I plan on doing another shoot after I lose another 20 pounds.
