This is my favorite restaurant! I don't eat out a lot because great cooks run in our family and when you are a good cook, you are usually disappointed in spending the money when yours is better. Not so with Bosco's. The best homemade bleu cheese dressing ever, the best muffalata's...no question and his seafood dishes are outstanding. Super fresh, , had a pizza as a app, we were a little early as dinner service starts @5 on Thurs, then had dinner, probably ate to much, my steak served with spaghetti and a Cesar salad was epic.

What a delightful surprise when we walked into the door! From the parking lot you'd think it was a small casual pasta place. BUT when you enter the door you will walk into a fine dining trattoria in Sicily! A separate bar, beautifully decorated dining rooms in Italian style and a whole other room for private parties!! This is the best Italian restaurant that you never knew existed. Cloistered in the middle of Mandeville, not far off Interstate 12, you could miss this place if not looking. You will not regret finding this gem, and it will make Olive Garden seem like an Italian McDonald's. Hot bread, not breadsticks, served with butter and best had with the salt, pepper, oil, and freshly grated parmesan cheese. We do not have a favorite dish, as they're all delicious. Called ahead around 5 pm to order the gameday special for a 7pm pickup. Showed up at 655pm and the girl said pizza had "just came out ", she reached under the counter and pulled out 2 large pizzas and box of wings. Boxes were not hot, slightly warm...guess they had been sitting for 10-15 minutes already. One pizza missing bacon topping, other was correct. Everyone enjoyed the pizza but would recommend not ordering too far ahead in order to get it hot and I should have checked the box before leaving. First time getting pizza here. More...

Seated immediately, impeccable service by our waitress Nicole, lovely decor, calming tunes of Dean Martin & Frank Sinatra , best of all very clean.
Nicole was knowledgeable & well spoken answering our questions. The timing of food coming to the table for each course was simply perfect.
We asked that the chef be commended for creating such a divine culinary experience and said we will certainly return.

I love this place - have been here only twice and loved both times. The crabmeat appetizer was big enough for a meal!!! - which is what I might get next time. Can't wait to go again, there are so many items on the menu I want to try that others at the table got and loved! We went last night and have finally found our Italian spot. We've lived on this side of the lake only 3 months but have lived in NOLA for 10 years and never found Italian we actually enjoyed. Our kids loved the spaghetti and meatballs, our oldest loved the lasagna and the Chicken Marsala was to die for. The caesar salad to start and the fresh baked bread were perfect. Enjoyed a scrumptious lunch...stuffed cannelloni that was to die for....and did I mention the bread...hot and perfectly crisped. All of salad dressings are House made and delicious as well. Since I over stepped my diet boundaries on the entree', I skipped dessert but they all looked heavenly. The absolute best Italian restaurant in Mandeville period dot! If you've never been I encourage you to go. I'm a huge fan of good Italian food and I always order just a side of meatballs to Gauge the quality of food and when I first went here 3 years ago I was blown away to find that Anthony the owner makes the best meatballs that I've had in over 20 years and that's saying a lot considering I was born in Manhattan and raised in New Jersey. So in a nutshell amazing food, great service, huge portions, reasonable prices and convenient location make Bosco's a Excellent choice. On a personal note I'd like to add that it was at this restaurant that I met the most amazing server ever!(I eat out all the time so I would know better than most) I'm sorry she no longer works in the industry, but if you're reading this Anthony you should really try to get Tandy back.
