My family took me here for dinner when I was visiting last weekend. I currently live in Florida, so when I'm back up on Long Island visiting bagels and Italian food are a must. My uncle described Borrelli's as "sloppy Italian food" which I loved. It wasn't messy, but this isn't the type of place where you'll get gourmet food, small plates, and expensive prices. This was good, old fashioned, Italian food. I had the stuffed shells and boy we were they stuffed! So much cheese-it was wonderful. I came here with a large group and they were able to set us and serve us promptly and with such poise. Borrelli's was very helpful with accommodating gluten allergies and other food preferences. I have lived In Levittown for about 16 years and have passed this place thousands of times and even worked not that far away and have never been until recently. I am in love with the chef salad it's amazing and so fresh and they give you enough to share even with the small size. The broccoli bites are also very good although they can be a little greasy. We have also tried the chicken parm and it was very good as well. We will be back to try other items for sure More...

I've driven past so many times & they have been here since the 1950's. Traditional red sauce Italian restaurant. Started with a happy hour Chardonnay at the bar, drinks before 6 are $2 off. We could not decide & shared a 3 tier appetizer sampler the rice balls, meatballs & eggplant rollatini all were delicious. Yes I am of Italian decent so I am not sure if that disqualifies me for some of you or gives me a PHD for knowing Italian cuisine. If you value quality ingredients and are wanting delicious Italian food at a fair price, then this is your place. I have enjoyed this fine restaurant for over 30 years and I am confident you will too. I am really not trying to make my wait time longer by encouraging others to try one of my favorite restaurants, but doing what's right is right. I see some of the reviews here have not been as favorable as mine and I wonder what mood they were in to start with, as I have never experienced anything like what they were saying. I'm thinking something else may have been in play with those individuals or it could have been a fluke as I have never had any issues that the waiters/waitresses did not make right immediately. I can only tell you it is worth trying for yourself. The Baked Zitti, Chicken Marsala, Cheese Ravioli and the Cheese Lasagna w/Meat Sauce (gravy) are my favorites. Was here for a family function in the back room. The food was very good and was buffet style. My favorites were the chicken parm , sausage and peppers and the house salad which had salami in it. They made me a whiskey sour which was good and the coffee with dessert was also good. Overall the place is solid, as is the Staff. The people working were very nice and accommodating. I returned to this restaurant after 36 yrs. While I attended Hofstra in the very early 80s this was the spot my family would eat. My parents and siblings would enjoy the meal after traveling 8 hrs. We stop today after my son accepted his offer to attend Hofstra. Back then I could eat anything now it's only Gluten Free for me. My family I thought would love the Lasagna and Pizza and I would deal. Was I wrong! I had a great dish of GF pasta. The sauce was wonderful (Norcina) and the GF pasta as good as any I have had in Italy. I also treated myself with the Gluten Free pizza as bread. What that you say. Why it's the crust with just EVO, salt and pepper. While everyone had their bread I had my crust! If you are in the area stop by I know I will be for the next 4 years! More...

I had my engagement party here super last minute IT WAS GREAT! I was really upset because the venue that I previously booked, Mio Posto Hicksville, literally decides to closed down a week before my party with no explanation so shady but Frank was extremely accommodating and I felt a relief when he said it wasn't going to be a problem to host our party. Pasta for 2 was enough to feed 4 people. Baked clams were delicious. Mozzarella was mixed in with the stuffing and the extra sauce was perfect. Garlic bread was amazing. I went here with my grandfather one time and he order the linguini with white sauce, they accidentally brought him red, he wanted a new order, what he originally ordered, they brought it to the kitchen, ran it under the sink to get rid of the "red". We went on a night they hosted a special physic entertainment evening and since it was my first time here, I thoroughly enjoyed the menu presented for the evening. And for the set price it was all delicious. There was wine included with a 3 course meal. My friends wolfed it down! Really nice place, pretty big. Went on a Monday night so the service was a bit slow. Drinks were priced $8-10 /glass which was avg. Pasta dishes were a bit pricey.
